I reicently have been looking into building a new machine for Sacred 2 but as it sits it wont be ready in time for the release date but oh well I can still drool over it. LOL here is what I have in mind. For the most important parts anyways.

ASUS M3N78 PRO AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8300 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Processor

Creative 70SB046A00000 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional Series

ASUS EN8800GT/HTDP/1G/A GeForce 8800 GT 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

HITACHI Deskstar 7K1000 HDS721010KLA330 (0A35155) 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM ( 2 of these)

eDATA DEC-200B Vista Certified Infrared Remote Control W/ Receiver & Blaster

OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory (total of 4gigs)

and it will sit pretty in this

RAIDMAX SAGITTA 2 ATX-928WY Black/ Yellow 0.7mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Removable MB Computer Case

and the total price so far is less than 900$

Yeah I know its a lot of space but I am sure that I can find junk to fill it one for data and one strictly for gaming

And Berkly I would prefer not to go dual core as quad core overclocked will blow the dual core processors doors off. This advice is coming form a Army trained computer geek my little brother.

Good looking system, dude. heh, all that space... for five years I got by with nothing more than 40 gigs. Seeing this kind of space make me go agoggle.

Funny thing is...no matter how much space we have...it always gets filled up fast huh .

Let's hope the purse-string controller gives the green card on the purchase... You'd definitely pwn Sacred 2

:(

gogo
