AGEIA Physics

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how many of you are playing the game with Physics enabled. What does it do, exactly? Is it standard enabled on CPU/GPU?

There are a few well-priced AGEIA PhysX cards around my place and I was wondering whether it would be worth the buy.

Note: I have a 3870 in my system, so it's not possible to test the PhysX with my graphics card, hence my question :P

I think the Physx is only for the bodies (after the monsters die, you can push their bodies round by walking over them), so I wouldn't have said that getting a Physx card just for Sacred is worth it.

I know it's an options available as a click on and off for nvidea....I think I have mine off lately.

That just determins whether it's your gfx card or your cpu that do the calculations Gogo. For anyone with an ATI card, their cpu would perform the calcs (though there aren't many).
