Sacred 2 online status (ClosedNet / OpenNet / Lobby)

Heyas, just tried a couple times to get on the Closed servers to no avail...

 

I happened to be browsing through the GSF and came across some informative posts on the Sacred 2 server issues which appears to be updated frequently in order to keep players informed. The below quotes are translated by Google which isn't a perfect translation but you'll get the idea. As you can see from this regular updates they're working quite hard on it. :(

 

Let's hope things are back to normal, (or even better!), soon.

There is a database problem occurs sporadically. Without apparent reason multiplies the amount of data and is in the appropriate databases. The result is a complete crash of the databases by overloading.

 

The technicians try the error that occurs only occasionally to find.

To add another failure to prevent the test were installed to monitor the system and, where appropriate, early warnings with the goal of a manual reset to set in motion before it is too a big problem. A reset has sometimes 30 minutes to failure.

Am I reading this right... this is because of lots of new players in the servers? Well.. I guess it's good that new players are arriving...but I wish they'd fix it for us so we can play.

A server update is currently being applied to all lobbies. This may result in some temporary instability for a short time. I'll post back when the updates are complete, as well as post a news item regarding the update.

Another annoucement :

Server update 2.34.2 contains a change that adjusts the balance of the Dryad CA Viperish Disease which was being exploited. This change will prevent the CA from causing excessive lag, as well as make character leveling speed more compatible with that of other classes and CAs.

Glad to hear that the viperish disease exploit have been fixed. :)

I'm still following the situation. Unfortunately it appears that problems have arisen in all lobbies. Just as soon as I have updated information for you I'll get it posted, in the meantime please only post new information to this thread.

All the lobby are down for the moment. Error 64 here on EU lobby.

New update :

Feb 13: Servers are still being worked on. I'm seeing improvements over last night's status (I can connect to some lobbies where I could not last night), however there are still issues in all lobbies. We are doing everything possible to get service restored as quickly as possible.

Some servers are working (not fully) and some not, they are still working on it :)

EU lobby here, lobby and servers are fine but no slot available :(

 

EDIT> Slots are back in HC :)

 

 

Feb 13, Edit 2: It looks like they're on their way back. I was able to connect to and saw games for EU, EE & RU, however am still having difficulty connecting to US and ES. I'll keep doing periodic checks and post updates as I encounter changes.

 

Feb 13, Edit 3: US servers seem to be back now too. I was just able to join preconfigured games in HC & SC, as well as create games of each type. 4 down and 1 to go (ES is still giving me a bit of trouble connecting).
