Guest gogoblender
Well...it was okay. The movie was VERY expensive and certainly looks like it. Nothing looks so nice as the sparkling chromes and pristine whiteness of the nightmare of this future. But...I dunno...I kinda found the movie boring sometimes...ya know? It's like...ever since Matrix did that whole...look ma at the creepy neo-natal baby sacs  It's really hard ta find much better. The explosions were top notch and the CONCEPT of industrializing clones was pretty sharp though. And of course...those little icky things goin down the eyeballs. k, major yuck factor there. hehe pros and cons? Well...if yer exploring dystopias this is certainly a place to start. But I have a friend who's TOTALLY into dystopias and utopias. And I once saw this movie called Logan's Run.. Wow This movie has nothing on that. Also 1984 is one a the better ones a this type, running closely with Matrix. Oh well.... enjoy the effex! SurfsidesGirl 0
this movie was just a total remake of Logans Run with a different name... I mean almost EXACTLY the same plot and everything!! Link to comment
Guest gogoblender
wow! you DO watch a lot of movies! lol, I remember seein logan's run...old black and white movie. THAT was an amazing take on the future. Everything seems (and/or has? ) to be inspired from something else I guess. It's always fun finding out or making a connectioni to a take on an issue that was done in the past. good post surfsidesgirl gogo Link to comment
SurfsidesGirl 0
ty I'll try and keep em coming. Surf actually introduced it to me. It was an ok movie. I think I liked Island better just for taste-wise and Graphic-wise. Link to comment
