I live in Schagen, the Netherlands, North Holland. It's a pretty boring small town of about 21.000 people, a lot of babyboomers and not much opportunity.
I have lived in Adelaide, South Australia for the last six years and intend to go back next year. Absolutely love that place and can't wait to be there again! (And stay!)
I won't bother you with family history to explain why I feel attracted to certain Anglo/European countries, but definitely !
Netherlands... lots and lots of bikes and paths? I think I relate to this as my home here Montreal has over the years spent a lof of money on the Bixi systems and has tons of bike paths which take you all over the city. As I'm center city, I can pretty much boot over to any part of the town by just riding over the mountain and right into work. Love it. I always get a pass every year, even if I dont get to use it so much in a week, I feel like I'm contributing to the overall "greeness" of the community. There's hundreds of stations all over Montreal, the summer pass is cheap, and the stations are solar powered... wahoooooooooooooooo...
One of my favorite things to read is past posts of the big content writers here re mods and builds. Sacred series is my favorite, and re-reading all the effort, trials and jubilalations that players have gone through is thrilling. Never ceases to put a smile on my face, its like a community that is always here and exctied
I feel the same way. I spent all last night reading all the bug reports from years past. Many of them will soon be fixed. People got so worked up and passionate about the various issues the game had/has. I wish I could time travel and show the upcoming results. Well, better late than never.
I just love what you wrote. This is why you're so good at this Flix, and why the mod has been so successful. Many would get nettled by having feedback that was rough or just negative in nature...but you almost manage to keep your cool, stay professional and transform ALL feedback into gains that you leverage into your mod.
hence a very brilliant mod and tremendous good will you've generated
Hey, guys ,I've been big sacred 2 fan when it cames out and played it a lot,but that terrible game optimizations made me stop playing it.
since a few weeks, I really want to play it again and give it another chance , so I looked around the web and read about possible bug fixes/patch and I've heard about that community patch,
Hope this will allow me to enjoy playing as a shadow warrior again,
Please forgive for my english, french player here ,
And even in case that CM patch won't prevent the game from crashing, thank you anyway to all
of you for keeping a sacred 2 community alive,
Bravo on your warm and cheery introduction. I've always loved it when someone puts a bit of themselves into their writing, and showing appreciation fo this Sacred Community is a great litterary "cup of coffee" to read in the morning.
Enjoy the world class The Fallen Mod which Flix et al have masterminded and is nothing short of a new game in and of itself. And expecially...have fun with our comunity, games and friendly faces make us smile
in Afrikaans a brick is known as a baksteen, literally translated into "baked stone". but bak also has plenty of other uses, mostly used as a prefix which changes the meaning of other words according to the context; as well as several meanings of the word spelled identically.
baksteen -> Einstein
Bravo Theuns...I always love how he way people run this topic gives me great surprise info and moments!
Flix, to you and the entire team, a very well deserved Bravo...just erad your pm about what Pesmontis and Dimitrius154 have done with the decompiling.. unbelievable! :jumping: It's you guys have opened up a whole new world...what can you NOT change!
And to add a little more magic, Brad and I have been working on doing something extra for this site/sites... we couldnt finish it last night, hoping to get it down through this weekend... stay tuned... we're hoping to show you what a terrific platform this can will BE for the eve evolving game of Sacred and Fans!
I don't mind pineapple on pizza, but everywhere some people call it "barbaric"
I'll try almost anything on everything...I find that this is where good eating habits take us... to at least the attempt to find value in all eaten goods. I remember trying a Hawaiian pizza years ago and falling in love with it. It's not the kind of pizza I eat often, but when I do have it, Ill enjoy it.
I guess I could give it a shot. I thought X-Men franchise was irredeemable and then First Class & Days of Future Past turned that all around.
I haven't liked a Spider-Man movie since the very first one. And the more I think about it, Toby Maguire sucked in that role. I think I was just enchanted to see it since superhero movies weren't yet a monthly occurrence and Spider-Man was always my favorite comic.
Also, yowza Aunt May is bangin'. I grew with Aunt May being ancient and withered.
lol, she is! I was quite amused with everyone finding her hot and wanting to give her extra goods in the resto... completely me off my game... so happy that it's marissa tomei... im DEVOTED after this scene in crazy stupid love ...soo adorable, and funny
A friend and I were enjoying the mod as a Druid and Paladin. However, whenever the Druid would come within range of my Paladin, he would receive a buff that made all his stats ridiculously high. 1500% attack speed, move speed, etc. I'm not sure if it was fanaticism buff or what, but we were relatively early in the game < lv. 10. Transitioning areas would not fix the issue, but relogging did. At least, until the druid came back within proximity of my paladin.
Other than that, we did not do any thorough testing.
Thank you for all the time and effort you have put into this mod!
And a big and hearty welcome to DarkMatters Rhodes! Great having you here on the boards and enjoying Flix's wild Diablo Mod!
ARPG fan almost my entire life. Played it all, literally.
I have to admit though,I feel ASHAMED that I found this mod only 3 days ago. Good thing I decided to replay this game and was a bit loss after all this time and decided to see what's new. And I ended up in this forum and found this mod...
Flix, and everyone that was responsible for this mod ill drink a beer in your name when I get out tonight. Excellent work on this mod,it makes the game somehow feel complete now. So much new stuff and on top of it its from my all time favorite ARPG game D2. From now on ill spend allot of time in these forums and the wiki to learn as much as possible.
Thanks again, playing a barbarian atm and I have a blast,it just FEELS powerful. And the world and new monsters/bosses,make the game so much more fun to explore. And even the side quests ain't boring since I never know what I might find.
Got one question for now though. I noticed you recommend people to make new chars when a new beta build is released. My question is,why exactly,I mean obviously its a better way to experience the new build, but is there stuff that older character can't access like class changes etc.? or I can just go and replay the difficulty or just find the "new" quest for example.
EDIT: I suggest you to bring the mod to the Nexus mods and Moddb. There is a whole lot of people that need to know about this.
I'm here to also give you a hearty welcome to DarkMatters, Sikkens!
What a warm and very lovely intro and thanks to the creators of the mods you've put up!
Anyone seen Wonder Woman yet? I enjoyed the hell out of it.
We just saw it... what a terrific movie... bravo!
Definitely one of the best super hero movies I've ever seen... Love Gadot...she's fresh, humble, brave and strong
I hadn't seen a single trailer since I'd heard this was going to be released, and got to see it in AVX today... what a wonderful, imaginative and exciting experience... Chris Pine from Star Trek in it too? Awesome !
p.s.. just love it when she goes Full Goddess at the end ...outstanding
