But first I wanna get the correct application sequence, as I think I remember seeing you should install the main game first, with all patches, and THEN do Ice and Blood with all patches. So: Fallen Angel base game > 2.40 patch > 2.43 patch Ice and Blood expansion > 2.64->2.65.1 patch > 2.65.2 hotfix Community Patch (optional)

The Securom thing, I tried that and it wont find my Sacred 2 game. Even when I point it to the specific folder. Though maybe it's to do with how I activated the game. I used a method that isn't allowed to be said here, I can PM you how I did it if you like. I bought the game in '09, so I don't have the activation keys anymore.

The patch linked in that thread is 2.65.1 to 2.65.2 which I can't run because I'm at 2.64. Also the sacred 2 updater said I have the most recent software version.

Ok so I left it for a while and tried downloading the 2.64 to 2.65 patch and it downloaded. However it comes up saying ''Wrong Software Version'' which to me doesn't sound right. But maybe someone else could shed some light on this problem. The filename is "Sacred2-UK-2_64_0_0-2_65_1_0" btw.

CM patch requires 2.65. I'll give it a day or so I guess.

K, so I have it installed. The thing says Ice and Blood 2.64, currently. However, when I tried downloading 64 > 65, and also when I tried downloading the CM Patch it told me I couldn't start any more downloads till my current ones had finished, but the other patches finished hours ago.

I saw a couple posts while browsing saying how the online servers got taken down a while ago due to lack of money for the company or whatever else. Is this true? If so, is there any other ways of playing with others online? Patching, I saw a thread listing all the patches but can't seem to find it now, I think my game version is 2.0.2 currently.

I heard there's some bugs with the steam version, also they're usually relatively late with updates. (implying Sacred 2 even receives updates anymore) Also to get a steam download you usually have to buy the game through steam, which I didn't. I bought it from the site link that used to be here back when I played it.

I bought this game around 4 or so years ago I think, and kinda wanna play it again but I can't see any download links anywhere for it. All I see are patch downloads or mod downloads. Can anyone help me with this please?

The desert, even starting at level 39 on silver, has worked like a charm! =) Got an insect head right off the bat, went to the central desert town, and ran a border circle, heading straight south and circling the border of the western part. Ended up leveling three times so far and it was quick! Now I'm focusing on getting the Nature Lore up to mod lances and vines to max, then work on Goldenglade. Once THAT'S done, I need better armor, I get mauled by even those stupid scorpions (at least 200+ / hit). Wonderful suggestions! Now I can see this going places and it's even more fun than before. =) Great =D Also don't worry too much about how hard the scorpions hit, they hit alot harder than almost anything else in the game from what I have gone against. I just tend to ignore them and run away. And from what I understand about getting armor, pump your animus high and go fight bosses. Acute mind/Black Curse should help the bosses go down. It's actually not 32 points you have for mod points. You add the two together and get (32+50=82) This is the same with every aspect. I.e 50 Tactics and 100 Capricious Hunter Focus would mean you have 150 points total towards that aspect.

Kind of hard to do when your lances and vines aren't modded to max, and that's why I've been trying to level by the castle. I'm saying that VD isn't killing off the mobs like it did the kobolds for the mass experience, and I have the gear to up the level and potency of it too. I'm 36 right now, and VD takes off about 11% of the mob's HP per second as I'm reading it. Go to the desert, I was there by like level 15, carried on in the desert till about level 40. then went to gold desert till about 65. Holy cow, who's hardcore now?! LOL Gotcha, sir. I'll be honest, I haven't had much luck with experience past the kobolds. It seems that the Grunwald region freezes on me, and when I go to Kuftal, I can get the disease to spread like wildfire, but the experience never rolls in... I have 10 runes memorized for VD, and I'm beginning to pour points into the Cabalistic Voodoo lore (or focus, whichever one I picked up at 35). I absolutely LOVE this build, as it's fun to pan out and see everything glowing green, but when I can't get the experience rolling like with the Kobolds, it gets a little frustrating. BOO! Any suggestions would be welcomed with open arms, and public flogging will commence again once I find out it's probably something stupid like the Combat Discipline I was missing for the boss combination! =) You could try getting to silver difficulty. P.S I mean Gold

Odd, I'm trying to put them in the same combo now and it's just not taking to it. The screen is looking at me going, "Ummm, dude, we have to talk..." As of now: I tried setting up black curse, edaphic lances, and tangled vines to no avail. For the life of me I can't figure out why or how to get around this. I HAVE to be missing something really simple for it not to be taking... Combat Discipline Here is the solution.
