  1. Sorry to hear. first on P HC eh? well keep your chin up. unfortunately it happens. Yeap. Gonna go back to being a seraphim. Actually managed 0 deaths on my 360 seraphim for a long time until I saw the Orc Cave.
  2. Just lost Mecha Birdo farming Orcs in Silver. Level 22, and was going so well. They pile damage REALLY FAST X_X Ah well. Time to go back to being a Seraphim!
  3. With a free clicking environment, you can just click your destination and even aim your Combat Arts to an extent. I got annoyed with some nuisances of the 360 as well (auto-targeting for one. Try using AW with a BFG without homing fireballs...).
  4. I'm here now! Just got home from work, and just 25 mins before 1 AM EST! Ready whenever! I'm in the lobby at the moment. Just give the word and I'll get a game up!
  5. It wasn't a huge article: more or less a blurp on the side of page 34 of the current issue of Game Informer, but alongside Torchlight and Diablo 2 it seems Sacred 2 has some spotlight!
  6. So if I get this straight... Use BE's Combat Art ability, switch to Archimedes Beam as the active Combat Art to do the disco dance?
  7. Next availability... I could probably do it after work tomorrow, around 1 AM. Saturday's either between 12 PM and 3 PM or after 1 AM going into Sunday, and Sunday I'm available all day and night. Time zone is EST.
  8. As much as I love the utility arm and the giant wheel mount... I have to go with Seraphim for their t-t-t-titles and as-s-s-stral projections tankmage prowess. >_>
  9. Hm... not sure how schedules are across the board but would ya be willing to bump my Mecha Birdo from silver to Niob? >.>
  10. I'm noticing the same issue. I was just roasting kobolds with flaming shurikens until I was suddenly taken back to the main menu. Tried logging in servers, making my own... keeps closing the game out. Something's up, and its probably maintenance.
  11. I just got the PC version of Sacred 2 (already loving it, may end up putting the 360 version on the shelf as I wouldn't throw that out), and decided to join the Hardcore festivities (although I will be rather lax on playing as I do a ton of other things XD). Always look for a Light Temple Guardian "Mecha Birdo" or a server named "The Wet Noodle Brigade" if you wanna look for me. Can't guarantee when I'll be on, but my chances to be on are Monday/Thursday evening, or Sunday whenever (EST). Might pop a surprise visit after midnight EST on any day.
  12. I am not totally familiar with Steam. but I assume it supports the patches available for other PC versions. and as for Sacred2 PC-UK I am right here in Pittsburgh and running the UK version on 4 computers in my house. 2 from DL Gamer and 2 from Nexway. I didn't have to do anything extra special to run the UK-version from here. From the sound of that, might as well get it from DLGamer! Thanks!
  13. Not a problem. Not sure why Nvidia pushes out PhysX acceleration if it gives a lot of issues... maybe its for the higher end GFX cards and machines that can support it. Curious... while I understand that DarkMatters endorses the DLGamer copies of Sacred 2 (as it seems that's the only place to find Sacred 2 with its expansion), supposedly someone were to have a copy of Sacred 2 downloaded from Steam. Is Steam up to date with the patches and bugfixes (excluding Ice and Blood content) as compared to the console version, or are much of the bugfixes and whatnot exclusive to the DLGamer copies? Also, and sorry if this was asked before: does the copy from DLGamer (guessing to be EU in region) work well with US region PCs, or do you need to do anything extra to support it? I'm sticking to console for now since I have the 360 version, but should something happen that's irrepairable (such as corrupted save) it helps to know what my options are.
  14. Glad I read this, saves me using all the fiddly little patches in between 2.0.2 & 2.40. I got 2.40 with Ice and Blood, that saves me a 1gb download again. See if a reinstall fixes my crashes. If you are using an Nvidia graphics card. reinstall the driver and disable PhysX in the control panel before starting Sacred2. this has proven over and over on my win7 64 machine to cause many crashes. PhysX has been rather wonky for some of the later titles that's been released lately, as well as to more recent updates with current titles. From my own experiences, PhysX acceleration makes Dragon Age: Origins a blue screen fest and freezes up World of Warcraft upon logging out in a dense region, requiring an end process. For any of the later titles/updates, I'd definitely recommend having this off--Sacred 2 or otherwise.
  15. Some nuisances I noticed: AW using the BFG does tons of damage, but that excess damage sometimes translates to no damage done despite being a clean hit. Jamming the Combat Art buttons sometimes locks the character in place, stuck trying to spam a Combat Art. Going in/out of caves when slowed causes you to be perma-slowed (have yet to find a fix for this other than leave and join a game). Sometimes, when using Combat Arts, the character will walk in a given direction when trying to use the Combat Arts, despite not using the analog stick to move. Chance to find items should be 1% per 4% map explored, but is functioning at 0.1% per 4% map explored. Ranged targeting is wonky to downright flawed. Sometimes using AW (with the mod to seek targets) won't even seek anything (as nothing ends up being targeted when using the Combat Art). Jamming the Combat Art buttons may cause a character to 'rapid-fire' (attack speed is thrown away as each button press executes a normal attack until the Combat Art trying to be casted is recharged). This may lead to (or be a result of) freezing in place. No energy shield meter. Would come very handy to know when that will be exhausted so that it doesn't give out when fighting in the Orc Cave (already the source of all but one of eight deaths). I love the game, but am debating if I should stick to the 360 version or go for PC, which if I get the corrupted save issue that will be the case cause the 360 tends to have some wonky freezing issues whether by the game's coding or the hardware having trouble.
