  1. New pics at: http://www.gamestar.de/screenshots/rollens..._ice_blood.html Enjoy (And yeah, I see 5 skill slots as well in those...) I went back and no not a mistranslation, could be a misinformed editor on their part though... who knows
  2. Thanks for the reply. Yes sir, GR & RE all the way. Not sure if it matters what order I picked my skills in but I have like ArmorL, Toughness, CombatR and SpellR. After I more less got 1 shotted I got ported to the Monolith and fought off the mobs around it and never got the chance to see NG level. I would assume it was probably around level 100 being the normal mobs was around level 95+. Well, if you died, they'll be a lot easier after you reload (as in shut down the game and restart it)
  3. 60-80 with a good level in the correct focus skill. For example : - CA level 60 : 1 rune = +0.8 - CA level 70 : 1 rune = +0.7 - CA level 80 : 1 rune = +0.5 - CA level 90 : 1 rune = +0.4 - CA level 100 : 1 rune = +0.3 Some skills are hardcapped (BFG for example) most aren't. However reading in a lot of runes can hurt your regen at some time
  4. You need 5 points in tactical lore or dual weild won't open. If you've put a point in every level till 4, you'll need to put in the 5th before selecting a new skill
  5. Pick a build from the Guides -> seraphim board. Use that build Once you hit like 50ish or so, you'll know why the auther picked the skills he did, thats when you can go and make your own
  6. 1. Level 7 is low 2. Its hard to know what you're shooting for if you don't say so. It kindof looks like a BFG build but eh... not sure Check the other threads around here to find the build you're looking for
  7. Here goes the translation. I am not doing a full translation, only the new and important stuff... not the editorial blah blah Like every character the dragon mage's disciplines are split into three trees. "Dragonmagic" is generally offensive magic, for example calling a dragonling that drops a firebomb. In "berserkerform" the dragonmage changes from a non-melee class, into a strong lizardman. The more he kills the longer the transformation stays active. "Elemental Magic" calls earth, air monsters to help, with the spell "magic wall" they summon a wall to keep opponents away. "Mentalist" slows opponents or uses a lightning-type spell to light up the enemies with the spell "energy burn" You can pick dark or light with the shadowmage and the rest of the campaign is the same as with the other characters, except the initial "mini-adventure" each class has at the start (solo play). In the new zones Bloodforest and Cristalplains, the campaign isn't continued, instead you'll have a side-story to complete: In the hunting grounds of the Seraphim a Kristall-Pheonix is making trouble, which you solve by ultimatly killing him. To travel to these new reagions you only need to be level 5 and then talk to someone in the elfen main city. This also means that the opponents aren't going to be especially challenging. You should, therefore, hit the difficulty appropriate for your character (niob etc.) The surroundings and the monsters are a new design. Bloodforst contains Zombies in houseruins, constructs walk over old battlegrounds covered in bones. The shadows of the twisted trees hides Messengers of Death (winged witch warriors). The Cristalplains are built like its name implies, it contains cristalelementals, cristal skeletons and lots of cristals sprouting out of the ground. You decide in what order to visit these new areas, they will be smaller than the main game, and offer around 20 new quests. These quests will involve new bosses, the demon Ashibai in the Bloodforest as an example. Other changes: Mastering "staff weapons" will allow you to shoot with them (like titan quest) At game start you will be able to choose hair color and style. Usually when you use a skill, all skills from the same tree start recharging and you have to switch to another to keep up the flow. The alternative model keeps the recharge of one tree low, but increases all others. Changing skill trees doesn't help, but it is easier to use only one tree. Up to 5 skills in a combo. Travel will be sped up a lot as you can now teleport to EVERY soulstone you activated (well finally imo) Legendary weapons will truly be legendary Two new rides: Unicorn and Flamehorse Carrier slave for everyone. And a new menu option to remove all dragons from the game. Just kidding! Image tags: http://www.gamestar.de/previews/rollenspie..._ice_blood.html I'm going to skip the scrollable 7 images. Page 1. The firebomb dropped Page 2.1: The messanger of death is attacking the dragon mage with "energy burn" Page 2.2: Berserkermode Page 2.3: Keeping constructs away from himself with the magical wall
  8. BFG Seras tend to do loads of damage. Mages are always nice. HOWEVER: Any class, when built right can gather a mass and blow it away within seconds. ... oh and that happens to be one of the BFG seraphim's weaker points (masses of enemies on top of you)
  9. Bargainers can't find unique, set and legendaries on the merchant Enhanced Perception mastery (75+ hardpoints) gives you a significant MF bonus.
  10. Check the guide sections for good builds for those classes. All the help I can give you, as I don't play either
  11. Warding Energy lore will make the shields skills that much better. Constitution is generally considered one of the best defensive skills (with mastery you regen your HP's at an insane rate, IN COMBAT) Combat discipline will give you more damage but you'll have to use Combat Arts for it to count
  12. BFG is a BUFF and a Weapon (as above poster said) There is NO need to put more than one point in Ranged weapons (needed to unlock getting the bonus) you will get enough bonus from the Buff that you will be able to equip the weapon (I had a +12 level weapon at level 40 with 1 point in ranged, and I was fine) What you do need is tactics, tech lore, tech focus. Focus ups your regens for other tech stuff, lore ups your crits, tactics ups your dmg. Use the other tech skills as well, as you're high tech, if you like it or not This means having to get awful things like the shield, nova, and Archangels wrath... dreadfull dreadfull Also get warrior focus + the warrior buff (for pelting + more to-hit/dmg/defense) Thats just about all you need offensivly
