  1. Interesting. I'd think the life regen from GI would make the High Elf pretty resilient. But the only one I ever got to high levels had a shield, so it's hard to say what would have happened without that.
  2. Full-power allskills and "unlimited" rune eating give consoles an edge... and I still love the gamepad setup. After playing Sacred and Titan Quest on PC, I definitely prefer the gamepad (esp. with camera control). Hrm, no windows partition on your mac? Where there is a will... I've considered partiton, but sounds like too much effort for just one game right now, when I already have that game on PS3.
  3. Thanks, Gogo. I actually joined a long while back, but kind of drifted away from Sacred for a bit. Been playing again lately though.
  4. Something I was wondering about as well. Wait, does that mean us consolers have an edge? Doesn't make up for not having the expansion, but hey, ever little bit. Course, if Sacred 2 had come out for Mac, I probably would have gotten that and made the switch.
  5. JK, I know you're playing on PC. Does any have any data on whether Shield Lore is as good on console? Does it work the same way?
  6. You know, I also just came back to playing Sacred 2. I stopped because it was too addictive. Gets in your head and eats up your time. I started again for the same reason.
  7. I'm gonna have to try that spirit farming a bit. I found the swamp one of the better areas, for me. Orc cave gets too tedious.
  8. Thanks, lujate. I like the idea of Lore combining with GI to and Constitution to give massive life regen... But I haven't played much past level 100 before, so I was worried chance to block (from Shield) would be better late game. BTW, I've been away for a while. Why have so many people's avatar's become Santas?
  9. I'm thinking I want Enhanced Perception. I need to drop something. It sounds like it will probably be Shield Lore or Delphic Lore. Thoughts?
  10. Love the build. I've been using a variant of it for my Seraphim (console), level 60 now. A couple of questions, though: It seems like the Sacred 2 Wiki, Damage Lore doesn't sound like it would affect Radiant Pillar since it's not doing secondary damage effects (like burning). Have I misunderstood something? If you weren't going to take Damage Lore, would you prefer Constitution or Toughness? I've been hoping to gather a Celestial set (have 5 pieces now) and Endijian's Wings, but don't have them yet. Some I'm not sure whether the 9% DM at Toughness mastery is worthwhile when I've only got about 10% on top of it.
  11. My High Elf is my only current character. She is level 63 right. If I put three points in Bargaining each level (so I could continue pumping the Pyro skills too), I could master it within a few levels of 75. I had a dual wield seraph I wasn't totally happy with so I scrapped her. But I may restart her. That or a dryad. I was thinking of getting the HE up to 75 so the lower level chars can start with some early sets. They don't need them, but it's fun Since I'm playing single player offline, I haven't been able to do the farming method Schot demonstrates (freeworld still creates too high in levels). Thanks for the input.
  12. Hi this is my first post here, and I'm still relatively new to the game (I just completed Silver with one character). I'm wondering whether the mastery benefits for Enhanced Perception and Bargaining are worthwhile--I've got the skills with bonuses high, but the base skills are fairly low. Especially Bargaining--I read somewhere here it can sometimes net you set items. Are they always for your current class? Are they only for your current level, or could I go back and do early quests to hook up a new character? Thanks!
