  1. I have a Serpents Tongue sword, and without looking at my hero chest (at work on lunch) I think it's somewhere around the level 50 to 60 range. I'd be interested in the level 84 & 52 Testa's Annihilators. I can usually hop on around 5:30 or 6 PM CST. My gamer tag is c0untzer0kc. I might also have a Kuan's Pride in the range you are looking for. Cheers!
  2. I understand about wanting to beat the campaign first. A quick tip about free play mode, if you can find a resurrection monlith close to a boss, kill the boss in campaign mode then exit. Go into free play mode and teleport back to the monolith and smack the boss around again, rinse and repeat. Gar'Colossus is rather close to one, Carnach, the end dragon in the underground caves has another, Garganthropod has one along with the 4 guardians as well. My preferred style of play after finishing a campaign is to farm the 4 Guardians on the difficulty you just finished in free play for a couple of levels or 5. Using a mentor pot can net you some really nice xp and killing 4 bosses at a time will really up the chance of decent drops and a hefty amount of gold. If you have enhanced perception make sure all 6 relics are boosting your EP and if you can get any find valuables % jewelry wear some when you go on a boss farming run, never hurts. Cheers!
  3. Another thing to keep in mind is set items could have 15 to 20 levels difference, so if you got a level 15 set helm the next may not drop until you see level 25 or 30 items. Swords can range around every 10 levels a new one will drop. I also see you're headed to Gar'Colossus. Have you killed the mini-bosses in the human area? Raging Boar & Bloodclaw? The Boneslicer I imagine was from running the Undead Legion quest and was not a drop. If you want a higher percentage chance for goodies you could fire up Free Play and farm bosses or mini-bosses for set items or rare weapons as well. I will on occasion go into a cave to reset vendors, so maybe do the same if you are grinding on the map as well. At the very least if you level while grinding sneak into a cave to reset the level of the mobs on the map. And as older rpg players have heard before, random rolls are random. Good luck!
  4. I play on the Xbox 360 and the Undead Legion is not bugged for me. I have completed the quest on different characters and at different levels as I know I have 4 or 5 boneslicers in my shared chest.
  5. I would go with concentration to be able to run both battle stance and warding shield together. Mod battle stance for evasion and have divine protection as an extra layer of defense with the warding shield. Playing melee dual wield I would want the extra defense concentration could afford you along with lowering regen as well.
  6. Undead Legion is a good one, and sort of close by I like to do Blind Guardian quest as well. It's a chain started by Hansi south of the town of Clearview. The reward is 4 weapons and Shield of Mirrors. Selling the weapons will net you somewhere between 200k - 300k gold. If you have a shield wearer the Shield of Mirrors has 3 sockets and +sta & + experience per kill.
  7. I play on Xbox 360 and the guide works fine. I slightly tweaked his guide to incorporate Enhanced Perception and Bargaining and she's my shopper in Niob. As with all guides, it gives a good basis of tested information. That said don't be afraid to try things for yourself.
  8. Awesome video, olocat. She really does tear through stuff nicely, even on console. Having a quick guardian farmer never hurts anyone I say.
  9. Being on console, I can't tweak the XP gain but I did finish silver SP at level 41 and have been farming the Guardians until I hit 50 (got a nice 2 star monster head drop from one of them 19.1% spell resist and 7% find valuables). I'm at 48 now and it seems to be going smoothly. I think I will go ahead and pick up CVF as my 10th skill as well so I'm trying to master Tactics, DW & Concentration at 75 and then will work on Con & Armor Lore as next masteries. Where did you pick up those Kal'durs olocat? Is that an Ice & Blood drop or is that available in Fallen Angel? Nice work testing the build out, may have to try getting a guide together sometime.
  10. That's awesome ololcat, work has been crazy lately so I'm only at level 35 on silver in the desert. I just picked up Armor Lore so hopefully her survivability should start to get better, her killing speed though is just fine. Even got through Mist of Miasma with little difficulty (which always seems to be a possible oh crap moment). What did you wind up taking for your 10th skill choice? Still kind of up in the air on mine but I still have constitution to pick up at 50 before I need to worry about it. Really liking the Blast gold mod on RI, as when battling undead in the swamp can stay locked on a fallen undead while the others go down to LL and the blast damage on regular mobs. I'm glad I took EP, as I've been getting lots of Detheya set pieces along the way. On my blowpipe Dryad it seemed I'd get more Daerwains & Leaves & Twigs.
  11. As Locolagarto said above, most shoppers are used to shop for jewelry (+ all skills) as opposed to armor. If you are wanting to build up an armor surplus to use for other classes, I'd suggest farming bosses & mini bosses in free world play. While you will see more HE pieces, the set pieces can be for any class. It can be time consuming, but it does work. If you can acquire find valuables % jewelry on your shopper equip some of it before going on your farming runs. Another beneficial place to farm would be the orc cave with the 4 champions in it. As far as needing bargaining on each character, it's not needed. I do like picking up Enhanced Perception to increase the rate for better drops and to unlock experience per kill & find valuable jewelry that a good shopper could purchase for you. Cheers!
  12. While Tarantino wrote and starred in it, Robert Rodriguez directed it (later they would collaborate on Grindhouse http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462322/). Tarantino's first film was Reservoir Dogs which also starred Harvey Keitel. Tom Savini (Sex Machine) is one of the first great horror special effect guys who worked with George Romero (Dawn of the Dead). Showing my 40 years in this post and while this is a good vampire flick I have two suggestions for other quality vampire flicks not as well known. Let the Right One In http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1139797/ & for an older one Near Dark http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093605/ which was directed by Kathryn Bigelow who recently directed The Hurt Locker (while not a vampire flick, is a really good movie as well.)
  13. Unfortunately being on console (Xbox 360) we will not get the AddOn. While DW staves are available the Acute Mind buff was not as powerful as it was on the PC either. As far as a 10th skill I think I'm down to deciding between CVF or Combat Discipline. I have quite a few Khandar's Slicers and Officer's Sabers that don't have sword mods on them and DW mastery is the same effect for sword lore minus the unlock of mods on the swords themselves. Seeing as she'll have CR, AL, & Con for defense the point of having a pet to soak up extra hits sounds appealing. I don't use many combos in this build and with RpH keeping RI spammable shouldn't be an issue either. What would give the most damage output? A high level yellow shrunken head pet or the damage gain from CD. Of course, the pet has a slight advantage of soaking up some damage and CD gets the regen time.
  14. I've thought about Sword Lore as an option. I know I have many more swords than hafted weapons. Although, most of my 3 star swords do not have sword modifiers on them. I do have 3 or 4 boneslicers at different level ranges which of course have sword mods on them. I have read the benefit of having SL to unlock dual wielding boneslicers but I have so few of them as opposed to others in the trunk. As far as not running a melee Dryad and sticking to range, my shopper is a blowpipe Dryad so I have that play style covered already. I also have a BFG seraphim & Ice HE that I play as well. So mostly, I've played ranged classes and want to have a melee character in the stable. I had a DW seraphim at 50 I deleted, and I just can't get into the Inquisitor or SW classes. I do appreciate all the responses and opinions though. Cheers!
  15. So in reading various posts and builds (the Kung Fu Spider & DW staff) and in looking at my stockpile of Dryad armor & weapons in my trunk I've wanted to build out a melee dual wielding Dryad. Notes to keep in mind. I have a Platnium shopper that I can finish up to Niob fairly quickly & I play on the console where rune eating is abundant and enemy spells aren't as big a factor as it seems to be in Ice & Blood. My build would look to be as follows Tactics - 170 (CH mods and damage) EP - 75 (for goody finding and xp per kill jewelry) CHF- 75 (finish out modding all of CH aspect and mastery) DW - 125 (I have a large stockpile of hammers & swords and want somebody to use them) NWF - 75 (To mod out Ancient Bark, GGT, & TV to keep mobs from running away) Conc - 75 or 1 hard point depending on skill 10 Combat Reflexes - 75 (For evasion and to open up Armor Lore & Constitution) AL - 75 (if I don't take CVF at skill 10 more points would be slotted here taken from Conc) Con - 100 My last skill I'm debating about I would have 75 points for mastery in it. I'm trying to decide between Speed Lore, Combat Discipline or CVF to grab a pet and mod MA & Torment to go headhunting as Chattius has sold me as being addictive. My vision is using darting assault on mobs and RI on bosses. Throwing up Dust Devil for evasion and GGT for healing and being a swirling dryad of death (off with their heads to put on my belt!). Any advice or constructive criticism would be welcomed along with a choice on skill 10 from the 3 listed or perhaps another one which would make more sense in the long run. I started her last night and got up to 18 and while fragile in the beginning seems like it should build into something better. Cheers!
