That picture does look cool, but its hard to tell how the game will actually look like. For me personally, I hope they stay away from the cartoonish style, it suits the side scroller well, but for an ARPG it won't work.

This might sound stupid but where are you going to check if the "All Skills +X" is taking affect? You have to go to Overview, then press R1, to bring up the Additional Bonus window.

A bow will always have more damage. But with a shield you can always socket more deathblow, and it gives you armour. I guess it comes down to personal preferance. I would go with a bow though. It looks much more cooler IMO.

or you can find a bow/blow pipe with a good amount of sockets and forge rings with deathblow into them.

I figured out a way to get more double shots out of the BFG gun.I play on the PS3, so im not sure if this works on the Xbox. Equip BFG on X and pelting strikes(or soul hammer,doesnt matter) on circle Constantly tap the two buttons FAST in this pattern X O X O X O ..... ( I place my index finger on X and middle finger on O) Almost every shot is a double shot. With this technique you will be killing bosses 2x faster. Note: The button configuration doesnt matter. You can have the BFG on square and pelting strikes on X. Always press the BFG first, then the Combat Art.

I'm getting that same error even after installing python. I think I have a version slightly higher than 2.6 though and I am running windows 7. I am still having trouble even drawing a line...lol After installing python 2.6, blender started to work 100%. So I would suggest maybe try installing 2.6?

Really nice guide. Im going to use this method and make a simple calculator in python. I didnt expect that there was so much work to be done, before actually starting to write the program. Man I can already see myself going crazy once I start this at school , and its 6 months away!

Ive been getting an error, any one know how to get rid of it? I can still run blender, but I want to make sure its running 100%.

That really sucks man,it real bummer to see your hard work go down the drain. How are you turning off your PS3? Are you turning it off from the back? Or are you holding the XMB button and selecting "Turn Off System"?

I was fooling around with this program a few months ago. Its pretty complicated. But after folowing a tutorial I made a small and simple game, was pretty fun.

Thanks for all the info guys! I got a lot of reading on my hands. @Schot: The program only starts in the next Autumn semester, so that leaves me with 6 months to learn some programming on my own. I apologize for not explaining myself in my first post. But for the January semester coming up, I will be trying to get in a Java Beginner or HTML Beginner class. So if I get in to one of those classes, I will post my projects. @Nihilith: I think I will be starting off with Python. If you dont mind, can you lead me in the right direction on how to get started? I noticed I have python 2.2, is there a way to update to get to 2.5?
