Excellent idea! Furian67 has been making a list of phrases for his late night (early morning) game sessions with our brothers in Germany. He has been relating to me how cool everyone is that he is trying to learn some of there language.

ha, this is really cool! The different languages has, to me, always been one of the interesting things about Sacred since day one.

This has been very cool. I have a notebook with differant phrases and words to refrence. But lately when I play I have my iPhone next to me with Google Translate open and ready. I have started to get a few regulars on my servers. It's not like we have long conversations but I think that they know I'm trying and will figure out what is being said is cool and they keep coming back. I'm starting to recognize what is being said now too.

gogo first lets gather information on languages for awhile and then see about a wiki more polished..

Languages are definitely cool... I was in germany several months and learned everything I know in that 10 weeks in addition to 2 classes I had in US... big language shock. So it has been totally cool brushing up and joshing with some of the german players.

I would also like to know some basic phrases in other languages but probably only need to know most of the info in english and german....

Man. Next version in-game parser has to have ingame translation.

It would change everything.

After the **** octopus predicted a loss against spain at the semi finals and it really happened my daughters decided to do revenge and kill the messenger. So I had a big laugh at youth camp when the kids there played sacred and fought octagolamus and shouting take that Paul.
