  1. Light hit, heavy hit and defensive move? What is this, Sacred 3 or Mortal Kombat?
  2. Looks like good ole Alpha Centauri gets a spiritual successor... Civilization Beyond Earth:
  3. Regarding the monk character, I've come to the conclusion that it is the diablo equivalent of a melee dryad...
  4. Was your magic resistance high enough? Asmariel is a pretty tough and verstile boss. You have to adapt quickly to her spells, but once you figure out her strategy, you can take her down (provided you are adequately developed). Check out her wiki page for some more info. http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:Asmarael,_the_Queen_of_Spiders
  5. Bought Sacred 2 Gold in the summer of 2010... Started looking for info for the game on the net... And ended joining this Good Ole Club on September 21, 2010...
  6. I usually choose reject when he asks if he should follow me. The Nuk Nuk forest is already annoying. I don't need to worry for a killable follower too...
  7. There is also the "Redemption" chain quest in Thylisium, where a desert woman asks you to save her husband , who was enslaved and sold as a gladiator. This woman is described in the log entry as human.
  8. White Griffin all the way. That sucker once debuffed my BFG in platinum... As for Narmul, the easiest toon to farm him with (in my experience) is the High Elf. Some strong expulse magic, and all you have to worry about are the physical attacks...
  9. Gust of wind with life leech...oh, the good old days...and that's the thing I missed the most when I changed from S1 to Sacred 2: life leech on spells...
  10. :viking: :viking: :viking: ... Seriously guys, that's quite an accomplishment.
  11. No, Angela has wings on her helmet, they're just ribbons. They've also toned down the seraphim eye marks a little bit, but it's still Angela...
  12. It seems that the original seraphim archetype is back in active comic duty... http://marvel.com/comics/issue/43300/guardians_of_the_galaxy_2013_6 Ladies and gentlemen, Angela of Hellspawn universe joins the Guardians of the Galaxy...
  13. I remember seeing that movie a while ago... Christian Slater and F. Murray Abraham also played in that movie...
  14. too bad...it's a killer movie, is SO well written...clue.. I think original book based on... Uberto Ecco wrote it gogo It's The Name of The Rose. Back in 1986, wasn't it? Sean Connery is a monk - investigator and Perlman is a hunchback...
  15. Every now and then, there's a movie that brings new life to a classic genre. Cloverfield did that for monster movies, juast like, say, "Grouching tiger, hidden dragon" took the wuxia movie genre to the next level...
  16. I don't know mate... Personally, I'm just waiting for September... Machete Kills... With you on the Machete! And btw... I thought world war Z was AWFUL Lost interest in the first 15 minutes (heh, probably even less) .... I really didn't like the editing, all that blurryiness/handcam thing going on...not that I'm against hand camming style movies, that huge monster movie from the hand cam was awesome, forget what it was called now... or did Schot get us up too close, and all the action was blurring? gogo You mean Cloverfield... Yep, that was pretty original as a theme... proving that you don't need a huge budget to make an interesting movie...
  17. I don't know mate... Personally, I'm just waiting for September... Machete Kills...
  18. The whole robot HQ is the real deal. The moving robots are cgi, but the rest of the place was built from scratch...
  19. I've read somewhere that they've built four-story structures for this movie and that they haven't used a lot of cgi. That's why the effects look so realistic...
  20. Yes, and Monsters University made $82 million. Not to mention that even those who haven't read the book, found the ending pretty weak...Even Max Brooks himself took a few jabs at the movie...
  21. Don't forget that grim resilience gives a significant bonus to willpower. And since you are using the CM patch, the obvious choice would be Kanka's relics for armour pieces. The rph bonus on the gloves, plus dual wielding, plus demonic blow (modded for area of effect and life leech)... you can guess the results...
  22. I know what you mean. Honestly, I don't have a problem with new interpretations, as long as they are well-meant. Look at the "Man of steel" example. DC comics have re-written the stories of classic comic heroes like superman numerous times, trying to adapt to different times and tastes, without losing the original spirit of the character. In the case of "World War Z", they dump the good old-fashioned, Romero-style zombies, and replace them with some super-beings, that seem to have come out of "28 days later", just for the sake of visual effects. And instead of the various stories about the hardships of survivors of the war from around the globe, we have the run-of-the-mill almighty action hero who tries to save the world single-handedly. This is not a new interpretation. The Iron Man movies were a new interpretation. This is just the classic Hollywood recipe for a quick cash-grab. Anyway, that's just my two cents...
  23. My problem with this movie is that I have read the book, and from what I've seen so far in the trailers, other than the general story, the movie and the book have nothing in common. It's just another glorified summer blockbuster...
