Er.. The only problem I see with that tactic - you can't make the boss critter stop wailing on you while you say "Excuse me while I change into my MF gear..." He may be a few hit points away from doom - but I've yet to see one stop fighting until either you or he was quite dead. Also keep in mind that while you're swapping gear, your armor values will go down momentarily - and that could lead to your premature demise... Might as well have that stuff either worn or socketed in your regular battle gear so you don't have to worry about it. u have the F1 F2 F3... slots, and as a HE with IS im just stunning as much as I can so its easier for me than others I guess but just run away for 5 sec so u wont get hit and the problem is solved. so far I havent died due to my switching

well there is an alternative to EB, equip a one handed weapon and shield with +% to find valuables and just before a boss is killed (about 5-10% hp, depending on your dmg overall) and then switch to your MF gear (find valuables) and get the killing blow...I have +15% total at level 37 and ive got pretty good gear.

at 18-25, impressive I gotta admit... though, are u buffed up with gear from other players or is it all self-found on that char without any gear transfer from shoppers or friends?

well I made one in soft core in the channels and when I said "hey all" I didnt get any replies. from what I could tell by their names the guys who where online were german, not that im against them but their english may be worse than most other countries in EU. (due to dubbing movies to german so on...(I did not mean to offend anyone)) but anyway, noone replied so I didnt bother play online for long

this thread made want to make a HC char XD now that ive won the game on silver I believe im rdy for a HC char, and ofc ill be exporting just for a single player back up

hehe seems like someone broke my record I did it at level 31 on silver, but my fights took way longer and I had to run away from the center due to the shielding XD im a HE too. but on the otherhand I didnt have any help with items so im still proud

it made sence thx alt heres another question, any diffuculty above silver makes the mobs higher lvls than your self correct? (as in the auto scaling is +x level depending on difficulty?) so I was just thinking what is the scaling at in gold? thx in advance

actually I started in the "islands of many roads" no matter where I was previously. even when I went from silver SP to silver MP or if I went from single SP to gold MP the reason I went to free world was to farm. but when I did it as campaign(only option in SP) I started in the starting area for HE. and not at the machines/guardians as to where I was last time I saved/exited.

haha thx funny thing is im taking lots of dmg bur im dealing decent amount too so I can kill hordes and still survive cus I have mount but that damned kobold cheif is a pain!

btw when lvling, would u suggest I go silver diff and kill kobolds which gives me 300-400 xp but are very eas or go to a higher level place? maybe gold?

yea I knew about the level cap depending on area and the scaling, and I also had it very easy in the swamp at around level 25ish at max. but if gold is 60+ then my starting area should have a minimum level restrictions...such as maybe level 60+ or something mobs? or maybe the level 40 mobs is the lowest it can go. btw what is the level bonus on the mobs in gold? +2? +5? 10?!? thx for the input though, I appreaciate it

is there any mod that prevent regen, just like diablo 2's "prevent monster heal" requires melee hit or something?
