  1. Happen to have Xfire or Steam? Makes life easier.
  2. I can play tomorrow, when do you have time? Closed net hardcore or softcore? My toon is level 9 Seraphim, just started on her.
  3. If you want to see one of the worst ports I've seen lately try Darksiders. The game lets you choose resolution and that's it. It took them about half a year to create the port By the way, lots of games pre-load a map. Games like Call of Duty already have the maps loaded when the game starts. This pre-loading will be a lot faster when you have the game installed to your hard drive.
  4. About everything. One mayor factor is that I play one character, not 4 in a party. This is what I dislike in games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Age: Origins. I just can't seem to focus on more then one character, I want to perfect one and make it beast. The other thing I love about the game is it's ridiculous size, it's enormous! There is just so much to do, I could go to a giant desert and kill some scarabs, I could go kill some polar bears or even dragons. The combat is also really well made, there is - again - a ridiculous amount of customization in the characters. There are a lot of factors taken into effect when you fight, well, anything. Spells are well thought out, there are area spells, single target spells, minion spells, healing spells, etc. The looting is awesome too, the feeling you get when that one set item you needed drops down on the ground is great (my character has about 50 set pieces now, so that's mostly worn off now , 48% chance to find valuables). All sorts of items are available: weapons, armor, spells, rings, potions, etc. I can think of a lot more, but writing everything down would take a while. Dislikes: - Crashes and freezes. - Really steep learning curve, everything was like Chinese to me when I started out. - There aren't that many people online, but I think 10 people online all day is enough.
  5. If your character dies in hardcore mode it's lost forever. Your save game will be deleted. The plus side is that a lot of people play HC on closed net. It's a challenge , but you can also try silver.
  6. Then I don't see any other option, except for transferring the save file over to another PC and then going on LAN. You should be able to trade items then @Barristan Indeed, was a bit to quick with typing.
  7. Elwin, press esc in an online closed net game and choose "import closed net character". Should add it to your singleplayer.
  8. You're welcome Nalgfar! P.S: Console's don't use full settings, they tweak things.
  9. You can use your activation code twice, on two computers
  10. Release UK 2.11.2 → Update 2.40 Release International 2.0.2 → Update 2.40 Update 2.40 → Update 2.43 Click those after clicking the English flag You can only make the text larger by turning your resolution down, I think. @Popcicle Well the console versions only run 720p versions of the games, or upscaled to 1080p. They also have a lot of tuned down settings because the consoles can't handle them ^^. On PC I'm using full 1080p and everything on max.. There's your difference
  11. It WILL work, but you will get noticeable slowdown depending on your PC specifications. It would only run well on a USB 3.0 external drive and those are scarce at the moment. The save game directory cannot be changed as far as I know, but I've never tried that. What do you mean with the activation "thing"? The code that came with your game?
  12. Depends on your PC specs, if you think your PC can handle such high graphics go ahead. There's not that much of a difference though, it's only really noticeable on a big full HD screen. Patches can be found here: http://update.sacred2.com/ PC feels so much better then console, easier to control and more organized. It also looks better
  13. If you make one on Closed Net you can import it to your singleplayer too, that's two for the price of one
  14. Thanks for the nice words everyone, you sure are happy folks @AxP: I only play on Open net because I want to play without lagg too sometimes , can't do that on closed net. You will probably see me hosting a server there sometime, my character's name is Kuranktaa.
  15. Hey all! I've been lurking around this forum for a while, so I decided to finally make an account so I could join in on the fun . My first introduction to Sacred 2 was when my mate bought the Xbox version. He never played it, because he couldn't figure out what to do. So then I asked him if I could borrow the game from him. I played it at home and was amazed by how perfect it is - in the sense of what I look for in a RPG - so I kept playing it. After a while he wanted it back (of course) so I didn't play the game for a few weeks. But then I saw the Gold version of the game laying in the stores for just 25 bucks so went ahead and bought it. So there I am, I've never gotten further then my current character - a level 50 Dragon Mage - but I love this game I hope I can contribute to this community, even though my knowledge isn't superb
