  1. Rommel, that magic carpet ride was already taken, kind sir. Besides, extreme Physics is what I find entertaining, my good friend.
  2. Curse Sirs? Nope, just some cool cursors. Helping others is what we do here. Help, and and other cool stuff and burgers. I'll have another, please, Rommel. Thank you, kindly.
  3. Indeed, to travel between the two Sacred worlds (One and Two) requires a time machine. In order to post here today, it was necessary that I employ a stationary mass, temporal displacement unit. It is powered by two, top-spin, dual-positive singularities which, when properly balanced, produce a standard, off-set Tipler sinusoid. Oh, and yes you met me here before, yet it will have happened in the not to distant future.
  4. Don't look at me either, I'm certainly not that sarcopha guy.
  5. Well, I have a good idea of what would transpire from start to finish. It would be a very tough slog in the beginning. As the group worked together, it would become as a well-oiled bit of machinery. They would learn how to work as a coordinated team against opponents, a different plan against each type of foe. As they built up their Skills and Combat Arts, and enhanced and improved their gear, they would become as juggernauts and roll over their adversaries as would heavy tanks or steamrollers. The peoples of the world would shout their names and partially embellished stories of their deeds would entertain audiences of old and young alike. Their names would live in fame in the lands of Ancaria for ages; their bold, handsome marble statues would grace gardens for ages to come!
  6. Moms => Grandma, "Nana," "Maw-maw," "Gran," etc. = LOVE
  7. Obtaining the Scrooge Achievement is just as simple as you make it. One may play the main quest from the beginning of a lower level wearing the same gear as used in the higher level. For example... I skipped the Platinum level and was playing the beginning quests in the High Elf region at level 157 and also playing some in Multiplayer to level up and collect runes, etc. I started Platinum and played only the Main Quest until I defeated the Four Guardians and halted the Great Machine. (My Survival Bonus only increased .04% during the Main Quest in Platinum.) It's also fun to store up complete levels of gear and allow your new character of the same type to use it again. This method can serve to eliminate the need to shop or use the Blacksmith. A surrogate shopper may purchase runes, if necessary.
  8. UPDATE: I closed down the game and later, after I rebooted my PC, the "Scrooge" Achievement is in an unlocked state!
  9. One of the Achievements in the game is the "Scrooge" achievement. It is granted for not purchasing anything from vendors during the completion of the game. I played only the Main Quest, from the very beginning and through to the very end and didn't interface (not even on one occasion) with any Merchant, Blacksmith, or Rune-master. After defeating the fourth Guardian and deactivating the Great Machine the game ended. I reloaded my character and the Achievement was still "locked."
  10. Do you have a NVIDIA GPU? If so, you might benefit by checking your settings in your NVIDA Control panel.
  11. Eric, you might want to change your sound settings. To do so and get the sound "better" (in my opinion) just go to Sound Details. Under Adjustment select Mixed. Then under Character Effect (at the bottom of the menu) leave Account For Obstacles empty (no tic-mark). Under Adjust Volume On Zoom empty (no tic-mark). Finally, under Character Effect do place a tic-mark in On Center. I cannot tell you much about the deer in the tree or right and left mounting. The "buck" doesn't stop here.
  12. Rommel, please pardon my impertinence. But, I believe it was I who began posting in the "glowy green" font in the first place. By the way, would someone mind directing me to the Seraphim library, please?
  13. Rommel, everyone knows that it's a jolly holiday with Mary. If she ever actually had said, goodbye it would have seemed as if she had actually said, "hello."
  14. Just as stealthily as it appeared, the standard, customary reply by merchants has returned to, "Thank you," for ending a transaction by purchasing or selling something. I had not changed any files or updated, or altered anything.
  15. On the positive side, however, a stone's throw from Noriath Temple, and just north of Copper Peaks (Home of the White Griffin) there used to be a buck (male deer) way up in a pine tree. As of late, he's in the same location, yet with his hooves solidly planted on terra firma. For the past fifteen years, he'd been stuck in that tree and now he's free to eat grass again. Sometimes, life just surprises us, doesn't it? Even life in Ancaria seems to share a few unexpected treats.
  16. My primary intention is to find out why it changed and if it can be remedied permanently. In Purist Fix Pack, until recently, the Merchants always said "Thank You!" with a happy and friendly voice, unless you did not purchase or sell anything during the interaction. Now, no matter what, when you disengage from a visit (unless you use the Esc key) they respond with "goodbye." I do not like it... I do not like it at all.
