  1. @Flix Ben, I altered the creatureinfo file found in the Purist Fixpack by setting the lines for the relevant characters to: eq_fallback = { }, I will redo the quests which weren't completing properly and let you know if there are any issues, though I think that it's resolved now. You might want to update the affected mods on the Nexus so that they will be compatible with PFP. UPDATE: The quests with bosses which were flawed before, worked flawlessly after employing the corrected creatureinfo file.
  2. A fresh cache of the freshest steak is even better! By the way, the weekend is coming up; how do you like your rib-eye grilled?
  3. The reason could be that I had deleted my internet cache earlier today after yet another unwanted Windows update. Afterward, the site was downright speedy.
  4. @gogoblender The site was very slow loading the maim page today. I checked my speed with Ookla and it was great on my end.
  5. @Flix So, just to formally reaffirm the query above, how might the creatureinfo file be consolidated into a single file which functions nominally with the Purist Fixpack and a conflicting mod from Nexus? If you provide detailed instructions, I might be able to make the changes and provide a mod update.
  6. Again, just to reiterate, I only use one mod with the game (other than the Fallen Angel Demo Main Menu). When I re-enabled FPF (after defeating Haenir) and reloaded the game, balance.txt was reverted to its original values, as was creatureinfo.txt. Otherwise, there were no other files altered by me or the game. However, the Boss fight with the spider, Shelob didn't show up ealier in my play through either, but I left it uncompleted with a white circle on the map; it had no corresponding listing in the quest logbook. The "quest circle" disappeared after I switched back to PFP after Haenir's defeat. NOTE: It might be helpful to mention that Haenir looked like a Yeti-Troll. There have been no other incidents like this during my play-through and I much prefer PFP to the CM Patch. Also, I might have responded "no" to the GME's query about merging a file when I first enabled FPF and it is likely that it was referring to the creatures text file. Thank you for all of the enormous amount of work you put into this game. You deserve a medal and more appreciation than mere words have the ability to convey.
  7. Pevil, it's very important to take a supplement with Omega 3 Fatty Acids and Vitamin D3. This aids in keeping the eyes' lubrication system from getting gunked up in the first place and aids in clearing up any issues that have occurred and made the eyes dry, itchy, and feeling as it there's something in them.
  8. @Flix Ben, I am playing the base game from GOG and I am using only one other mod in addition to the Purist Fixpack. I have noticed that during the quest, In the Name of The Gods, Haenir (the boss) doesn't appear. There is only a white circle on the map showing inside the cave. If I save at that point and use the GME to disable PFP and reload, Haenir is present and after defeating him, the quest is then complete and shows so in the quest logbook. The creature info file was updated and it probably needs to be reconciled with the one from the other mod. This means that the Nexus mod which I am using will also conflict in the same manner.
  9. Here's yet another Option: The build for my High Elf is truly devastating. Glacial Thorns, properly modified is a great boss killer. I recommend using amulets which increase All Skills and all Combat Arts and Rings which increase Ice Damage. Also, using the Shadow Warrior one has leveled up as a Blacksmith is simply a wise decision, in my opinion. Employing another High Elf just at the right level above, one which possesses the Bargaining Skill, as a shopper works well. It's a reward (of sorts) for so many hours of game play. It appears that Ascaron was (at least at one time) considering making Cascading Shroud a permanent buff. I seem to recall Flix knowing how to adjust the re-spawn rate of creatures in a given area or areas. Perhaps, I can locate the thread where he mentioned it. In my opinion, it's a matter of personal preference how people play their game. I currently use the Purist Fix-pack; one reason (other than that it is how the developers intended the game) is because there are not any (Community Added) items dropping. This fact makes getting a full set of (vanilla) armor easier and the rare other vanilla items drop more often, including some which one might never see otherwise, even in many hundreds of hours (or more) of play. Also, Mutations sets drop occasionally (albeit rarely). Always coded in the game since its release, these sets were never correctly enabled to drop as intended; Flix "fixed" this issue within PFP.
  10. @gogoblender Do you want a link to the smileys we use? By the way, next time you need to log in use the "Log In Now" link at the bottom of the page. It is broken.
  11. Trockenbeerenauslese => Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (long names)
  12. Welcome back! The CM Patch is already included in the GOG version of Sacred 2 Gold. What character do you prefer to play? Here's an easy (if not completely lazy) Shadow Warrior Build: Want to get better drops? Check out this helpful information about changing the Balance text file:
  13. Yes, fortunately the site with the source material has been updated with a higher quality emoji character. It is important for ones mind to question this and make a quick inspection when on the side of the road. When you pull such a red stick out of the trunk, always ask the question, "Is this really a road flare or is it trinitrotoluene? One fetches a person a lot more attention, the cost of which is a significant amount of safety. The other lasts longer and is best employed after dusk. I have a ranch here in Texas. (The cumulative specimens borrowed from the emoji are dairy cows.) I thought that his location and condition was obvious. He's in a very hot place; you don't want to go, not ever. As a matter of fact, if you're going through that "place," keep on moving, you might get out before that ornery red fella even knows you're there.
  14. @Vishanka I have been wondering how you are doing, Vishanha; here's hoping that you are well now. We here at DarkMatters (such as Rommel and I) view our fellow members as friends and hope the best for each and every one. A good report from you would be wonderful; we care about you and hope only the best things for you.
  15. ^ SOLUTION We have closure now and there's a tidy red bow on the answer. The Smiley is titled, "The Devil's Wicked Smile." Although, I'm not certain who the artist is. I could provide a link to the site. We're mooo-ving on now with the line-dancing cows. Nope, nothing to see here anymore.
  16. Whoa, that "Groove Skin" reminds me of this... It's totally REDONKULOUS!!!
