Glad that it's working now. Have fun!

Have you clicked on "download anyway"? Google Drive insists that you double check on the download.

It should work fine. Set items have fixed stats so changing the CM version shouldn't change anything in the set.
Have fun!

On GME you can enable or disable the aditional modules, like Superspawn.

Yeah, CAs that need targeting don't work as intended when they're the second one in a combo. Shadow Step included.

Yes, another mod it'd be. But since both mods would change the behaviour in different files they'd be 100% compatible.

Since this only changes the drop lists you don't necessarily need to create a new toon, an already fully grown one can take a loot trip around Ancaria and you should be able to spot the differences pretty quickly. I think I'll test drive it with a blank lv.75 toon for that purpose, though I can see that you want to try the whole drop progression.
Thanks Flix!

Yeah, link seems to be kind of broken. I've found this one, I think it'll suffice for the moment: https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=24467

Hi, when patching 1.6 Hotfix.. "Cannot delete target fil: APEX_release.dll".. Need Help! I cant finish the patch..
Where you able to resolve this? What version of the game are you trying to patch?
-
You need to unzip the file you download because GME doesn't read from zipped files. Then you just need to enable the parts of the mod you want to use with GME. It's actually pretty simple.

When I use only "SuperSpawn" levels go up faster? Or were enemy experience values leveled to spawn, but little effect on leveling speed?
Immeasurably grateful !!! Perfect Mod!Superspawn increases the default spawn rate on different areas. If you check out the original spawn.txt and the one from the mod you'll see that most values are around double the amount of the original, which means that the number of enemies spawned on that region increase by the same reason.
It's just a mode where you get a bigger mob density per area. That results in more kills and more XP, so more levels in lesser time.

Well, at least you found out what your problem was. Glad you got it working then.

I'm not versed in Sacred 1 but my guess is that it should work. Did you have any installation error? What went wrong?

Yep, broken it is. Could've been caused by the recent hosting move. I'll contact the man at the helm.

Oh, your mouse still uses Setpoint, that's why you can't create profiles. Newer Logitech mouses use a different software centre, called Logitech Gaming Software, which enables you to create gaming profiles that lets you combine its buttons with keystrokes. What happens is that you have the standard keys assigned on the game and then you map it on the LGS for the mouse buttons.
Setpoint doesn't allow for this, sorry if I misunderstood.

I had the same happen to me on Crysis, so I solved the issue by creating a game profile for it like I explained above. It's simple and easy.
-
In my G502 all I need to do is create a game profile based on the game's EXE file and then assign keystrokes from the buttons related to the in-game functions. Basically assign letter Q to "mouse button x" for auto-collect, etc etc. Do you use game profiles or are you just assigning the mouse keys directly on the in-game options menu? Because if the game profile on LGS isn't working I couldn't fault the patch, but, if what you're saying is that the game now doesn't recognise the mouse buttons in the options menu then all you need to do is create a gaming profile for Sacred 2 and do the keystroke assignment. I know, it's "the other way around", but if it works it works.
Hope that helps.

If you use programmable mouse functions on a Logitech marble mouse, this patch will disable all input from programmable mouse buttons. Disabling the patch does not return the functions. I am now in the process of having to completely uninstall and reinstall my game, hoping to restore mouse functions. This is very, very bad. I am so upset I feel like crying.
That sounds more like a Logitech Gaming Software issue than a patch issue to be honest. Logitech G502 user here.
You should probably try to update the LGS, or reinstall it if you have the latest version available. Since it runs on top of the games no patch on a game should cause those issues. I even run Nvidia CP with custom settings for Sacred 2 so it goes well with third party software.

As far as I know that doesn't happen anymore. I've done the quest before in SP and I never had to change the difficulty level to be able to keep playing.
Don't worry about it.
-
When and if that happens you need to start new characters again. Until then try to have fun with the current version.
-
There's no auto-update feature. The only way for your game version to change is if you change it yourself.
In that view what you can do is make a backup of your save games with your current game version, then install the new 1.60 and start new characters. Then if you want to go back to your earlier version and save games you can do it easily.

I have an important question for this hotfix:
Just to be clear, this hotfix won't corrupt my sacred 2 installation, along with my saves and characters in it? (unless I did something to mess around with it)
It's recommended to start new characters after installing version 1.60, so answering your question it won't corrupt your installation of the game but no one can predict what will happen if you keep playing with older save games. Usually strange (read: bad) things happen.
PS: Gave a bit of colour to the disclaimer, now it's like a guiding light (I hope).

Keep saves from your characters created with CM Patch 1.50, if you want to roll back you can use them again easy. It's just that rare tier items (yellow) will have different values when you load them under CM Patch 1.60. Also for compatibility/stability's sake it's best to create new characters with each version of the CM Patch.
In case you want to roll back just hit disable.exe. But between the game not crashing and being able to run Elite Textures without hiccups I don't think you will!
