My high elf was pawned by a jaguar on niob. It hurt. Like, really. Luckily, only my mount died. But a jaguar? SCRATCH YOU DEAD FOO. PS: I was in the city and wasn't paying attention. My buff would have handled it.... if I had my buff up ^^

No, there isn't a good way to find players (like me...) who are willing to toss up a few good items for the sake of a new player. Perhaps create a side guide for PS3, or create a thread solely for people to sign that are of a decent level and are willing to help others.

In higher levels, as regen times are easier and easier to control due to concentration, focus, and other big time modifiers, eating runes gets to be OK. Lower levels, eating a rune can bring your regen time sky high. Like stated, balancing your character's regen times is the name of the game, and you can do it however you like, be it rune munching and using lots of regen stuff, eating one rune and using +aspect, or balancing. However you do it, its your char.
