    good weekend sir :l_diver:

I'd pobably like to work on the page again this weekend, maybe even today, but I think I wait till you're online :)

you think I can use javascript in the wiki editing prompt, maybe with the html <script> tag? for the table I scripted? I want to try this idea and report wether it worked.

The Wiki is open and malleable Lindor...if you want to add to clarify you can so that we keep getting awesomeness!

    Yeah did it.

The entire confusion came from the redundancy of the meaning of the word "Set". We should really invent another name for the more general meaning. Something like "armor class" or so. But I'm not entirely happy with that one either, one could confuse it with the damage channel armor.

  4. I made a three video series showcase about how I mod the game. Unfortunately the microphone is located directly above my air cooling system which is a little bit annoying, tried to reduce it with filters but it's still annoying, but I can't afford to buy a better setup at the moment so there's no way around that, I'm sorry.

The mods themselves are by no means ready for release yet, but once they are, they will be included in my mod.

    Here is the playlist:

Sorry for borrowing your good names:lol::D
Any specific area in the game where you want to live?

  5. Collection of Bugs so I can reference once I want to start fixing them in my mod.
The bugs should preferably exist in the latest EE and are fixable without requiring some fancy Ghidra/ollydbg Assembly skills.
But it doesn't have to be this way, I'll take what I get.

    Same reason there's this page

    https://sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:Seraphim_Mystique_Set

    And this page

    https://sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:Sopor_Aethernis

Genesis is just one of a kind though, so no other skins to add to the page. It's the same for all CM Patch sets. If they're reskins of an existing armor set, they're listed with the others of their kind. If they're unique they live on a page alone.

    I see. Thx.

The darkmatters download section is not very well structured, honestly it's a mess. Why not structure everything by dependencies? E.g. I never know where to upload my tools to. They're not CM or I&B or EE specific. The section really needs to be restructured.

I don't know why but I feel like sharing my ideas today.

    I'm thinking like following ideas:

    1. A Tree-Based dependency system for mods and character downloads
      • Require everyone who wants to upload something to mention dependencies on upload so it gets automatically sorted into the tree which gets automatically structured this way. Basically Everything in the tree would at some point depend on Vanilla, which of coure is not downloadable.
The download section will then automatically be structured based on the dependencies chosen.
    2. also a tree-based category system:
And I think this should be a whitelist, no other categories allowed. We don't want people to upload their music or sweet cat images here.
      • mods
      • Modding Tools & Spreadsheets
      • Characters
    3. Also a Tag-Based Category System for Mods
XOR: Exactly one must be picked.
OR: At least one must be picked. Multipe can be picked.
      • "FINISHED", "WORK IN PROGRESS" and "DEPRECATED" (XOR)
      • "SMALL", "MEDIUM" and "LARGE" (XOR)
      • "Functional", "Graphical", "Sound" (OR)
      • "Well-Tested", "Untested" (XOR)
    4. Disallow item downloads since you can very easily force the game to drop any specific item ingame and if every item gets downloadable for every version of the game, the download section would easily blow up to petabytes and become less overviewable and more messy. Instead, Pin a post with the reasons for this decision and link Flix' Tutorial on how to force-drop any specific item ingame to the download section
    5. Ability for potential downloaders to filter the download section for what you're looking for.
    6. Ability for uploaders to change your selected tags and dependencies anytime
    7. Every creator is notified upon enabling the restructurization of the download section that they have one month to fullfill the new requirements after which an admin sorts the uploads for them. This way we don't loose old uploads for which the creators are not active forums members anymore.

  10. That would explain why my teth got o hairy lately :D

Last thing I ate yesterday was oven baked camembert. I'm ony eating at home in the evening since we have a bakery and a cantina at work. Sadly without a cantina band.

Are you more of a werewolf or Vampire?

The day started really hard for me. Not only health, but I need to eat something. Yesterday I bought ingredients for potato gratin. Turns out I don't have a proper casserole dish in my new appartement yet so I had to do it inside a Guglhupf :D Was not easy to prepare meal given the physical condition I'm currently in. I even forgot to spice the meal, not even salt, so I had the emergency interrupt the baking when I noticed. The cream is also slowly dripping out of the baking pan. Hopefully it all works out.

  11. Thanks everyone! I celebrated by getting rid of the plaster splint. It's a strange feeling, hurting more now it's gone and I didn't get along with the doctor quite well, we had... differences.

How many Lindor pralines do you get on your birthday?

    xD

General Lindor is my favourite Character from my favourite book series of my favourite fantasy author.

It's funny because Lindor is indeed also my favourite brand chocolate. Only handmade confissery pralines are better :bounce:

    Congrats!

    My take would be:
A big, fat rumpsteak, nice and crispy, with salt and pepper, bread and two cold beers. And some salat. Not so bad after all. And a chair where you can lift your feet up would be nice. Enjoy the day. Oh, and someone should call your boss and tell him that for today you got the permission to keep both hands into your pockets.

Actually I was writing an exam that day, "Fachpraxis IT". It was not very hard, theme was neural networks and backpropagation, but only surface level and not very deep. Next week I will be seeing my boss again. It's a dual system between school and work.

I will be celebrating in a couple of weeks with my loved one:wub:. We live in different cities and don't see each other as often as we would like to. I dream of the day we start living together and one day it will happen, I'm almost sure:blush::heart:

oh nooooo Lindor, broken?  I was lucky to get through early years with no breaks, and everytime I see my Ammamma fall and get bruises or her knee hip incident which I had to get her to hospital for operation for , it always makes makes me nervous and worried for their return.  SEnding you some quality, home - made healing vibes with a touch of heart of Tamil, and some flakes of gogoblender power powder all conjured and cobbled together with a generous dollop of healing sauce... (limited edition, this ones white chocolate flavored  )

    Heal good mah fwend!

I'm probably getting rid of the plaster splint next thursday. So far everything has grown back together pretty nicely, no operation needed. It's just annoying and the plaster splint is bad for the skin. Funny story: I have written part 1 of my final exam yesterday while having a broken arm  I was EXTREMELY nervous. The exam counts 20% towards my final grades, part 2 will count 30% and part 3 50%. So glad it wasn't my writing arm which broke or otherwise this could have become way worse for me :)

I'd say DGF and WEL is mandatory on pretty much every TG.

I don't know. That's a pretty absolute statement. Constitution and spell resistance can have quite an impact. Also Combat Reflexes can have a huge impact. I have a dryad with combat reflexes and shield lore, she can stand in the middle of an elite panther pak for hours and not get hit once. Not even bloodclaw seems to be able to hit her.

  14. Hmm with concentration, devout guardian focus and warding energy lore you got three skills just to efficiently use one spell. Even if it's one of the best buffs. Is that really worth it? It's fun arguing over that kind of stuff.

An alternative would be swapping those skills for constitution, spell resistance and combat discipline. Then you don't have to choose between that and ancient magic, you can take both.

That's just an idea for future readers, considering that you're already lvl 42+.

If I had to choose, I'd take ancient magic as well.
