  1. Anything else going on with your console when the freeze occurs (any red rings around the power button)? Could be the ominous hardware failure that I dare not speak its name.
  2. There is an entire section of the forum dedicated to the Shadow Warrior and any associated strategies: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showforum=377 You may have better luck there.
  3. This could just as easily be a physical problem with your game disc or a problem within your console. Rarely do game "bugs" have what sound like hardware symptoms.
  4. Um... Do you actually read the stats on the items? 2-star is a bit weak to be your "keeping threshold" to begin with...there's plenty of garbage 2-star items. If you don't see yourself using/trading it at any point, there's really no reason to keep it. This might change for the real nice stuff (sets, uniques etc.) so maybe start by only keeping 3-star and being pickier about anything lower.
  5. This. How much damage you can do doesn't matter when you're a smear on the ground. But, also as Dobri suggested, splitting points across str/vit are popular when dying is more of an inconvenience than a permanent end.
  6. Yes to both. Blacksmithing is currently broked on consoles, and item quality is indicated by the stars. In the item description window, set items are identified as belonging to a particular set.
  7. Agreed, but I don't know why it's so finicky. It doesn't happen at specific points along the questline (or maybe it does?) and even if did, it definitely doesn't happen with any significant consistency. I'm sure there's some silly code/mechanic where there's crossed wires somewhere as I've seen enough reports of it to indicate it's more than just a random occurrence that happens once in a blue moon.
  8. See if this helps: http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ead.php?t=62220 Try highlighting the most recent "completed" segment of the line and see if it points you somewhere. Sounds exactly like you're problem, and I've noticed these little hiccups occurring at several points in class quests. Sometimes manually poking at the quest journal helps, other times I'll finish another quest and it will reset waypoints for others.
  9. The character builds and strategies here are fantastic. Glad you found one that works for you. Oh, and go Steelers.
  10. Kid Cudi - Day n Nite http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKp5iscRBGk (Trippy video) Hip-hop and rap are sadly underrepresented in these parts. Regional/cultural thing maybe?
  11. Must just be my American skepticism of everything that's ... not American then.
  12. (Quote omitted for length) While I share that viewpoint in some respects, I can't help but feel it's got a "Hey you kids get off my lawn" tone of bitterness coming from a 40- or 50-something left in the technological dust, and he'd just as soon complain about video games, solar power, or whatever the current 21st century technology is. Devilishly clever using Twitter as a scapegoat though.
  13. From my experience with MMORPGs, rarely are the actual formulas for such calculations available to players. At best, people come up with their own formulas assuming certain constants or plugging in a sort of "dummy numbers" to supply a fixed base around which an appropriate formula can do the calculation. However, a lot of this ends up "theorycrafting" and making up things as you go until certain formulas/ideas are considered legitimate enough by others to be a community-wide standard, and that's when you see set formulas being referenced. Even going with this train of thought, there's an absurd amount of research and number-crunching to get to this point, and it requires an equally absurd dedication of time and sweat. Due to the mysteriousness of mechanics in some games (not sure if this applies for Sacred 2) sometimes you just can't do it, and people go along with something Forum_Guy_01 made up since it seems to work.
  14. No im not putting on anything that alters my regeneration time its just going down and then randomly ill go into my attributes page and it will be back up to normal and its really making me kinda angry but it's not anything super serious I can still survive to the best of my abilities. Hm. So, does it just seem to be displaying incorrectly, or do you actually notice these discrepancies during combat? The difference you listed (39.7s to .7s) is pretty drastic; I suggest you do some testing (unless you already have) and see what's actually happening instead of worrying about the numbers displayed on your stats pages (attributes, et. al.). If it's just a display error, it is annoying, but I wouldn't worry about it. If it actually happens, however, and during combat you notice your regen times are all over the place, it could be a problem or even a bug.
