CA's linking as if comboed

Hi,

 

I'm new to the game and this is my first post, so sorry if this is a daft question!

 

I'm playing a TG on a closed server. I swapped my 2 main combat arts (Dedicated Blow and Combat Alert) from CA slots 1 and 2 to slots 2 and 1 respectively. Now they're linked together so they fire simultaneously like they're in a combo, which I don't want because it means that DB has to wait for Combat Alert's 20s regen timer rather than being able to fire every 6s on its own timer.

 

I've tried restarting the client, and also have tried emptying all comboes, putting them each individually in a combo and assigning the 2 combos to the 2 CA buttons, nothing seems to help. Anyone seen this themselves or have any ideas?

EDIT: Hmm, maybe it's not a bug. When I fire DB it gives Combat Alert a 6s regen timer. Have I misunderstood how regen timers work? Does triggering a CA in a tree give all Combat Arts in that tree a regen timer?

Yah every CA in a given tree gets a cool down when one of the Combat Arts from that tree are used altho I thought the CD's for the other Combat Arts were slightly reduced
