Temple Guardian General Build

This is a general build for the temple Guardian which also tries to make use of the battery. Partially inspired by the notes in this thread TG Battery Notes kudos to these guys for their hard work. Also inspired by an accumulation of my understanding of the other builds in the TG forum.

At this point the build is purely theoretical but I am working on testing it on the 360. feel free to check it out and give your thoughts on the matter. As well as how this build handles ######## I would really like to hear about that.

Since it is for the 360 and it seems that smithing is a bit buggy I probably won't be touching on that but refer to the previosly mentioned battery notes on what to do if you want to smith.

On to the build;

Attributes:

Strength- 1 pt every level from level 50-up

Stamina- 1 pt every level from level 41-80 & 120-180

Vitality- 1 pt every level from level 1-40

Dexterity- no points

Intelligence- 1 pt every level from level 81-120 & 2 pts evry level from level 170-200

Willpower- no points

CAs: mods will come later(suggestions are welcome)

essentials-

T-energy shroud-a must have it is your primary means of defense in the beginning while your vitality builds up don't go too crazy and skyrocket your Regen time go with 2 or 3 runes until mastering devout guardian focus

Fiery ember &

Icy Evanescence- your big Area of Effect spells

Combat Alert- another important buff spell

recommended-

Battle Extension- to give you just a little more power when swamped by enemies in close range waiting for a Regen timer to finish

Amplifying Discharge &

Archimedes beam- for use when the Area of Effect spells are Regening

Propelled Levitation-for quick getaways and breathing room

Skills:

in order of importance and acquisition

Source Warden Lore & focus

Lost fusion lore

A triple aspect TG is going to be a challenge for you to make. Maybe consider dropping Lost Fusion lore and replace with another defensive skill.

With such a large investment you want to make into vitality I would consider investing in the constitution skill for the in combat regeneration mastery.

At lower levels will you be using source warden CAs or melee attacks (DG)?

Also smithing using the in-town blacksmiths is not buggy just the blacksmithing skill.

thx I just found out that the skill its self is whats buggy so thats cool

the lost fusion bits will be more for the lower lvls I think I am still testing the build and I haven't actually played as the TG before so I am testing things out thats why the lost fusion stuff is not essential CAs.

Also for lower lvls it will be anything you can get a hold of to survive though mostly thats what the battle extension and lost fusion CAs are for I think the will mostly be fore low level mobs and minions if you don't want to waste your Area of Effect spells or for a change of pace the lost fusion is completely optional except MAYBE the Propelled levitation I am still messing with it

I think I will drop the lost fusion and use the constitution skill

also does the riding skill effect the unique mounts if not I might drop that and replace it with something else

thx for the tips like I said I am coming at this character cold I had it on my to-play list when I got the game and didn't see any builds that really inspired me

Yes the riding skill will improve your regen times on your unique mount and your speed if you master it.

Create your own build and share what you find out with the rest of us!

Also remember that if you make a hybrid build you are more likely to be a little good at everything but not really good at anything.

Edit: fixed a typo

this build IS a general build to kinda help me get accustomed to the character with out really limiting my options I think I will make a more specialized build later when I know more about this character
