Neksar 0 Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) I'm very interested in getting Sacred 2: Gold Edition so that I can enjoy the expansion and updates that the 360 version does not. Before I consider buying the game, however, I thought I'd try to get a grasp on how well it would run on my laptop. Also, as I understand, it wasn't released in the US, so I don't know if buying the UK version will affect anything either. I have to Toshiba Satellite A505 with these system specs: 4 GB RAM Windows Vista 64-bit, SP2 Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2.00 GHz processor ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 Series video card (I don't know how to see how much VRAM it has) That's all I could find. One of my main concerns is that the page that gives system requirements on the wiki doesn't say anything about Vista SP2. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Edited February 24, 2010 by Neksar
Dragon Brother 620 Posted February 24, 2010 Well I had it running on a toshiba a300 satellite with 4Gb ram, 2.26 c2d processor, 64bit SP2, Ati 3650 mobility with the following specs ingame: Shadow Details: Off Render Details: Very high Ground Details: Very high Effect Details: High Grass Details: min slider value PhysX: Off No anti aliasing or V-sync or weather. And I get 35-40fps most of the time ingame, with up to 50 whilst not much is happening. So basically, to sum it up, you should be able to run it fine.
gial 2 Posted February 24, 2010 I run Vista 64 SP1 with no problems -- when my hardware works (bum video card). I don't see that SP2 would break it.
Neksar 0 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Thanks, guys. I tried Can You Run It, and also found out there's a demo for it, so I'm playing around with that. Works great, so I'll probably get Gold sometime soon.
