Dobri 55 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) The build will hold its own perfectly against most enemies and bosses. It should have decent damage mitigation (Celestial armor + shoulders + Glacial defender is about 50% in niob which is 50% less damage taken) even without toughness (which I can't see how can you squeeze in this line up). I like it EDIT: You may need to pick a play style early on. The way you modded the skills it can be played both as a caster and close combat fighter. If you feel like the pillar isn't doing much (which may be the case without ancient magic and combat discipline to further boost the damage), hold off the modifications on it and mod it for debuffing by taking delude as bronze mod. Spunky 17 Posted April 21, 2010 Lucky seraphim's with their Mitigation pieces, wish the Shadow Warrior had some good all around mitigation sets too

Yea I made a Sword and Shield seraphim last night so I'm going to drop both Lore's on this character and put Dual Wield where Sword Lore is. That gives me an open slot to put Combat Discipline in. Good to hear this character will be able to do damage, I always wanted a Celestial Magic seraphim. And for playstyle it was going to be a mix like cast Radiant Pillar and Baneful Smite with the chain mod and then run in and melee. Plus since I changed to Dual Wield I can put all attribute points intoo Int this gives me more damage with my spells and I can wield a staff in my main hand and a sword in the other and still get the full effect from Int boosting my melee damage because I'm using a staff in my main hand. Love the feed back can't wait to start this character. Also I think I could squeeze in Toughness, I already have a Shopper seraphim so I can drop Bargaining and put in Toughness. bbrocker 0 Posted October 9, 2010 ok I my self am trying out a build like yours but I need a little advise skills: celestial lore celestial focus armor lore tactics lore constitution dual EP barganing and here is where my question lies: I am thinking about goin exhalted focus for making battle stance and DA very effective. and either combat discipline for lower regens and more dmg output. or taking concentration for two buffs. but if I take concentration and use two buffs and use cleaning brilliance. that only works on a few monsters. so I was thinking goin with combat discipline and I could just turn the buffs on or off depending on what monsters are around. any thoughts on this.
Ryanrocker 200 Posted October 9, 2010 Hey there, if you are looking for a dual wield celestial build I'd recommend checking out my Azrael, Harbinger of Justice seraphim guide. You can drop one of the skills for bargaining and move enhanced perception up in the skill order
