lujate 578 Share Posted March 26, 2011 I have a work-around for this problem, but I would like to find a solution. I have had Sacred 2 Gold working on my Windows 7 (32-bit) PC for less than 2 weeks. I played Closed Net about a day before my PC went south. I got my PC back from the shop Tuesday evening and played Closed Net (Bronze Campaign) Tuesday and Wednesday nights, without any problems. Last night, I played SP. I played SP earlier this evening and then tried to switch to Closed Net. I can get as far as the Lobby and attempt to join a Silver Campaign game. It shows the "Please wait:Connecting to server message" and here is where it goes awry. The next screen, I see my Windows start bar across the bottom and about 2 inches of my Desktop on the right. The remainder of the screen is one of the character splash screens (the ones that show tips). It dies immediately after that. Since getting it back from the shop, I have noticed on a number of occasions, I will click on a button in one of the pre-game menus and it will switch to my Desktop. The game will still be running and I just ALT-TAB back and continue. I discovered that I can still join Bronze Campaign servers, I can create my own Silver Campaign server and I can join Silver Free World servers. The game only crashes when I attempt to join an existing Silver Campaign server. Link to comment
