These guys will make billions gogo Mind-blowing But now that you mention the bullets, couldn't they just spray that coating on some bullets to makes them go through water? The coating would repel the water around the bullet, propelling it forward with no resistance? Link to comment

The coating is actually very tiny hairlike structures that H2O molecules cannot fall in between, creating the waterproof effect. Not too sure if the coating would work for bullets, though. It is the density of the water (molecules per cubic inch, etc) that inhibits things moving thru liquids (or plasmas, if you're into those...) Link to comment
