Braclo 4
Greetings all, So I recently purchased Sacred Gold (on Steam) after playing it years ago to play it Multiplayer (LAN) this time. I got it all up and running and it is looking good, until I noticed there is no town npcs. The quest givers and important NPC's are standing around, but there is no Citizens or Farmers as there usually are in Single Player. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change to enable them? Thanks, -Braclo 1 Link to comment
Popular Post Braclo 4
Ah got it fixed thanks to Zuko77Elendil over at Steam where I asked the question too. http://steamcommunity.com/app/12320/discussions/0/558751660840985762/ I had to verify integrity of game cache in Steam and it downloaded 5 files it could not verify correctly... problem solved. 2 Link to comment

Virian 27
For me it's all about the type of connection you selected in your options. As far as I know using the ISDN one comes with being marked as a "slow connection" user. Therefore, on multiplayer only NPCs you will encounter are these who are related to quests. Changing it to DSL somehow allows game to show You all villagers, animals and so on. However, as it stands for me, I can't connect to any server while using DSL option except the one I host.
