Gilberticus 374
I've managed to forget my computer password. I've used a flashdrive and another computer to load a tool, but my Alienware won't recognize it, it says "disk is not a password reset disk". It was called.... Ohm something. So, either I downloaded it to the USB wrong or it doesn't work. Either way, I think I need to burn a password reset disk. Does anyone know of a good website for that? Link to comment
chattius 2,520
BIOS or Operating System password? Master BIOS passwords are generated from the serial number by a algorithm known by the manufacturer. If you can proof that you own the motherboard they can give you a fitting master password. Gilberticus 374
I just got my pc back from my brother-in-law today. I'm sorry, I didn't see that I had a response, it was the operating system password. Today's been a stellar day for me, I've had grim dawn withdrawal for a month. Link to comment
SX255 630
Could have been worse. You could have ended up with Internet withdrawal for a month. So how's the PC? Link to comment
Gilberticus 374
It could have been much worse: the Alienware could be just a $32 hundred paperweight. The computer's great, thanks, Kenshi and Rodina are running much faster. Link to comment
