Flix 5,219 Posted February 20, 2016 Author Posted February 20, 2016 Credit for this item's design goes to DragonBrother, who did a retexture of this Pole and sent it to me. "Transfixion" has a double meaning of a trance-like state and also wounding. The swirling hypnotic orb mesmerizes enemies while the spiky blades slice and stab them. 1
gogoblender 3,462 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 ah, cool seeing DB got a hand in the new modding here for items as well. Is the green globe in middle glowing ? gogo 1
Flix 5,219 Posted February 20, 2016 Author Posted February 20, 2016 It actually swirls like it's filled with some kind of cloudy liquid. It's a neat effect and I can't think of where it appears outside of some CM Patch items. 1
Popular Post Dragon Brother 620 Posted February 22, 2016 Popular Post Posted February 22, 2016 Hey cool! I didn't remember this being incorporated so that's a pleasant find! It's actually based off just a random model type with some minor modifications... 2
Flix 5,219 Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Yeah... I feel like I should have sent PM's congratulating for the contributions...well at least now people are getting to see their ideas come to life..better late than never. I really did try to add every community suggestion during the development of the Items Mod. I think that's the lava effect added to the "orb"? That was no small improvement over the original glow effect. 1
Dragon Brother 620 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Oh yeah, now I remember. Yes, you're right, it was originally just a gem, but I added lava and then re-coloured the effect. I remember thinking there could be lots of cool things done with that effect... 1
