Corinthian Leather, now that's rich!

corinthian leather -> Piemont Cherry

Something like the cherries from Piemont in the pralines. The ad says there are Piemont Cherries in Mon Chéri.  I know a cherry farmer who says he delivers them and they are from germany and his ones are named 'Schwarzer Schüttler'. Sounds nowhere as good I haveto agree.

(By the way, it's pronounced "puh-khan" not "pea-can.") :badbad:

Yep, it's a thing! (And a lip-smackin,' toe-curling, tongue-tantalizing, terrifically tasty treat to boot!)  :yay:

Make a pie yourself. Just check here: insanelygoodrecipes.com

The Queen's Gambit-> Donald E.Knuth

I know many chess players who like to have the chessboard in a random order at the start. So it is not a matter of knowing the most normal openings from chess data bases.

Knuth is/was a wise man saying::

Random numbers should not be generated with a method chosen at random

I am old, learned programming with this:

movie -> The Mouse That Roared

An impoverished backward nation declares a war on the United States of America. Their wine sells are dropping because of cheap american wine plagiating theirs. They are hoping to lose because america allways helps nations who loose war against them. But things don't go according to plan. Their 20 men troops armed with longbows win...

intellect devourer => fat

Middle-aged obesity and a diet rich in sugars and saturated fat are known contributors to cognitive decline.

Being overweight is associated with a fatty liver which is less functionally able to prevent amyloid build up and toxins from entering the brain tissue which can cause dementia and Alzheimer's syndrome. :twitch:

fat -> net

I do many recipes which use Fettnetz (fat net)- the thin net like membrane around inner organs of some mammals. Special meat balls: French aur pair calls them Cailettes, me Fleischbälle im Fettnetz. Rough cut pork and vegs wrapped together with fat netting. The 'net' is just the thicker parts of the membrane. Hope you can see it.

And then BBQ

Mine are most often using meat from butchering fresh road kills, get the nets from there too. Cailettes are done short before the vegs turn brown. Black is surely over done :)
