Single Aspect Niob Level High Elf vs. Ghanka

Here's another good example of how well a Single Aspect/Single Buff (Crystal Skin) Mystic Stormite High Elf build is successful at Niob level. She defeats Ghanka handily without use of even a single health potion.

My favorite quest in the entire game.  Love the pacing and sense of exporation you get the first time you do it. 

The twisty turns, fences and miniature hillocks on the way up.

Yes, the music changes in the Kobold Village.  It's creepy and menacing.  A very atmospheric quest. 

When you kill the requisite number of Kobolds to summon Gahanka, you get popup text like "A bellow of rage roars through the canyon... what creature is unleashed?"  It's almost like an Infinity Engine RPG quest.

I'm actually curious, what skill do you use instead of Concentration?

Crystal Skin helps not only with the granting of an increased armor rating, but when modified it also speeds the regeneration time of Mystic Stormite spells significantly. Additionally, and to address your query, Combat Discipline reduces regeneration time, allowing our lady to "memorize" more runes resulting in much more powerful spell attacks.

So early in the game... you discover that killing those kobolds is so satisfying and they squish well.  Thoroughly enjoyable quest, well-written, populated and scripted...just looking at Hooyaah's vidoe and seeing the game rotating while on cliffs sets off the pangs of nostalgia.

Dude, how many +all skills do you have?! 

She's up to Level 105 Now and "all skills +" are at 100 even. I look for anything that compliments the build that adds that boost, especially rings that also add ice damage, or all damage, or increases Spell Intensity. If you are lucky a Merchant or Rune-master will vend a single amulet or talisman with "all skills + 10" that's somewhere around level 115. All that extra spell intensity and damage... Pa Pa Pa POW!
