Science experiment I just conducted.

Recommended Posts

As a child, I wasn't allowed candy. So, I've gone nearly 40 years without experiencing Pop Rocks. We got a big bag of them in Myrtle Beach last week. So, I was sitting here ten minutes ago or so, thinking "everyone knows what Mentos does in diet Coke, I wonder what Pop Rocks will do in a small bottle of Pepsi?" I wasn't expecting a soda geyser, but I was hoping for something cool. But all it did, other than the normal popping you get in your mouth, was steal the carbonation right out of the Pepsi. How very underwhelming! However, I discovered a new flavor of Pepsi that I think should be marketed: watermelon. They just released lime, mixed berry, and mango for Pepsi, why not watermelon, too?
