Katie Melua ... Piece by Piece (I have about 50 of her songs on shuffle repeat at the moment... she has a stunning voice and I love the bluesy tinge to her music - why is the depressing stuff always good?)

OMG! I have finally got someone into Nick Cave:) *faints*

Nick Cave is the most talented male human being on the planet... and oh so DARK!

I am listening to the footy on the news (Nick Cave would be turning in his grave - if he was dead :spidered[1]:(

Nick Cave is an Australian musician, writer, and total genius...

He is very dark... for example, one of his albums is called "Murder Ballads" and each song is written from the point of view of an infamous murderer...

He just wrote a movie, "The Proposition", which is absolutely amazing!

He was in a band called "The Birthday Party" who played underground in Germany in the 70's and 80's. Then he formed a band called Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, who he still plays with...

Um... I love him... heh :)

Anyways... I am listening to Robbie Williams - Me and My Monkey

Yep Nick Cave rocks :god[1]:

My favourite song would have to be Into My Arms.....

I don't believe in an interventionist God

But I know, darling, that you do

But if I did I would kneel down and ask Him

Not to intervene when it came to you

Not to touch a hair on your head

To leave you as you are

And if He felt He had to direct you

Then direct you into my arms

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms

And I don't believe in the existence of angels

But looking at you I wonder if that's true

But if I did I would summon them together

And ask them to watch over you

To each burn a candle for you

To make bright and clear your path

And to walk, like Christ, in grace and love

And guide you into my arms

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms

And I believe in Love

And I know that you do too

And I believe in some kind of path

That we can walk down, me and you

So keep your candle burning

And make her journey bright and pure

That she will keep returning

Always and evermore

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms

And the lyrics are just the beginning, it is an absolutely beautiful song! Get it NOW!! :wink_smile[1]:

About Nick Cave, well, interesting lyrics, I do like them, however the music isn't really my type of rock... It's good, but just not my style.

Oh, yeah, listening to:
