idbeholdME 438 Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 (edited) As I've been running around in Plat, I've noticed that enemy movement and attack speeds went up noticeably compared to Silver and Gold. But also that it affects the Nether Allegiance summons too (they move much faster than they did on Silver or Gold). Seems like they are affected the same way as enemies are when you increase the difficulty. Does anybody know exactly, how high will this speed boost be in Niobium? I wanted to support the spectral soldiers with Rousing Command, but have been stuck on the silver mod decision (movement speed or attack speed) for a long time now. Seeing as they are affected by difficulty levels, I want to pick the one where there is the lowest likelihood of them reaching the global cap (150%). The only speed related thing in balance.txt is this line: NPC_speedfac_any = {1000,1050,1100,1175,1250}, Does that mean that the base attack and movement speeds will be 125% for all NPCs, including the Spectral Soldiers? If so, then they will probably never reach the cap, as the shared bonus for Rousing Command starts at 50% +0.2% per level But basically, just wanted to check if somebody knows the exact bonus speeds numbers the difficulty levels apply to enemies, and apparently, also the Nether Allegiance. EDIT: Just tried messing with the numbers and yes, the balance.txt entry affects the speeds. And above 1500, no further speed increase could be observed on the Spectral Soldiers. So the Spectral Soldiers and enemies have 125% movement and attack speed in Niobium. Edited March 23, 2022 by idbeholdME
