pevil 45 Popular Post Share Posted August 29 Oh I don't mind him, I took it all as playful jests (and valid points on the out of date info) The 'Gold Mystdale Heavy Warhorse' just looked like a regular Mystdale Warhorse (the dark brown one iirc), but it had the best stats you could get at the time on any horse. It was available once you got into Gold difficulty so basically I used to make all my characters in Silver, rush them to where they could move to Gold then rush them through to Mystdale (easily done on MP with the portals) to buy the horse. I do remember testing that, even if you went up into Platinum, a better one wasn't available. You had to buy the horse that was already there then buy the one that replaced it. You may have never figured it out as I think they changed/removed that functionality with one of the patches so that it was more randomised. I honestly forget so much now but back in the day I was on it for hours on end for a good few years straight, almost always in multiplayer and usually just farming set items over at the tarantulas, letting anyone else in-game have any non-set drops that I didn't need and just chatting rubbish with everyone. If I wasn't online I was reading every single topic on the forums so I was very up to date with things back then. Now it's all looked back on through a golden haze of rememberance and wistfulness! Every so often I load it back up but it just isn't the same without the official servers 2 Link to comment

But under his grumpiness, he has a golden heart and always helps us noobs when called upon!) That "grumpy old man" is so harsh about misinformation because it's that same "grumpy old man" who has to help "noobs" when they fell for it again. 44 minutes ago, Sethi22 said: So I never heard about this golden mount either neither did I. But I also never cared about any other horse stat than their movement speed... So I always took one of those "free" ones with 220 speed that you can then tune a bit with a saddle on top. As a german I just have to imagine taking that horse with niobium saddle to 270+ on the german highway... no speedlimit ftw Though the scientist in me has to note, that in that specific case the apple would fall quite far from the horse 1 Link to comment
