Sacred Underworld - Some combat arts missing from quest reward tables or at the wrong place

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, back with a question this time, which I'm sure many of you will find strange. So I'm addicted to playing sacred 1 with quests. I love them, and I love to get rewarded for playing them. So I always do every one of them and always save-reload until I get my desired runes. I know it's easier to dupe them at the master, or cheat them in other ways, but for me that would take the fun out of it. My problem is this: There are runes, that I NEVER get. No matter how many times I try, it doesn't drop. One of them is Lightning strike of the Battle mage. One other is Call of the ancestors with the Wood Elf. (I haven't tried COTA nearly as many times, but still a LOT). What I realized is that I get lightning strike pretty regularly with a Seraphim, and COTA I think I got with my Dark Elf quite often. So I think there are quest reward tables, and these have been swapped accidentally. Can anyone confirm this, or even better tell me how to swap them back?

According to the wiki neither characters have a combat art called "lightning strike". They do however both have a combat art that could be described as a "lightning strike", which is also a possible reason for why they could have ended up in wrong loot tables. Battle Mages have "Chain Lightning", the Seraphim has "Lightning bolt".
I have no more insight to offer which is why I originally decided not to answer your first post.

Yep, thought so. At least that explains one of them. I have no clue about COTA though. I'm still not sure if I'm desperately unlucky getting it, or if it's missing too. Anyone getting COTA as quest reward?
