gogoblender 3,654 Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 Have you tried using google photos? I think first 15 gb is free and you can buy most storage super cheap.. once your images are uploaded there you can drop and drop them pretty much anywhere, into a post here at DarMatters gogo ps in the meantime, heres a pic of our late and last beloved (passed at 21) ... i was originally a cat hater...im from a tropical island we all hate cats but Star was Schot's and he is amazing with animals..it was just a few short years till I felt like the cat had gotten to be our small child
DocHoff 142 Posted August 1, 2024 Author Posted August 1, 2024 Whoops, sorry, turned the password off. I thought the password was protection against accidentally deleting a picture, not to keep people out. I'm not seeing any cat, is there a link that I'm missing? 1
DocHoff 142 Posted August 1, 2024 Author Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) I think I can drop pictures from zomerama to here, too. Time to do a test. Whoops, can't do that. I will try google photos Edited August 1, 2024 by DocHoff 1

I was in the middle of putting together some pix and I guess I forgot to put it up...lol Star would rise from her grave and serve me a plate full of scratches for that heres the pix from google photos... was using their free one for a while, then opted to pay for the first tier...I find it very useful from chrome browser and when I'm at work, I can drag from photos directly into TEAMS where we work with others. Ain't she sweet
DocHoff 142 Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 That's a cute cat. Here's a test picture. My shrimp have bred so much that I had to upgrade. I just put sand in, I like this picture, it's like a misty mountain type of deal. I'll see what other pics downloaded successfully
DocHoff 142 Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 Here we go, this one should be a little clearer: These are among my favorite fish.
DocHoff 142 Posted August 3, 2024 Author Posted August 3, 2024 Here's another pic I like, three of my Otocinclus saying hi: 1
DocHoff 142 Posted August 3, 2024 Author Posted August 3, 2024 I should also have two hillstream loaches next Wednesday
DocHoff 142 Posted August 8, 2024 Author Posted August 8, 2024 I got three of them instead of two. I also got a new handful of dream blue shrimp. 1
DocHoff 142 Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 I have another one, but it's blurry bc I really had to zoom in. This is a dwarf puffer
Popular Post DocHoff 142 Posted August 9, 2024 Author Popular Post Posted August 9, 2024 I have one more for now. The tank isn't what I find interesting, but the reflection. I somehow got the reflection of the bubble disc to appear on the cabinet door. I couldn't do this a second time even if I tried. 2
Hooyaah 3,239 Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Doc, your aquariums are beautiful. Have you ever considered setting up a very large one? I had a 135 gallon (510 liter) realistic aqua-scape with petrified wood and all natural plants. One particular species covered the bottom like a carpet of grass where the ghost shrimp lived and bred. I had a variety of tetra and Discus (South American perch). It established its own bio-cycle and needed almost no maintenance.

DocHoff 142 Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 Thank you. We looked at Discus, those are on our "maybe someday" list. Hmm, one very large tank. That's the eventual plan. These tanks have kind of been an experiment; having so many lets me test out different types of filtration systems, etc. It also lets me test out which types of fish are actually compatible vs what the internet says.
DocHoff 142 Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 Gogo, those puffers are some of my favorite, too. It's a lot of fun watching them suck down bloodworms. One thing that you may or may not find interesting is that dwarf puffers are born without gender; their behavior dictates their eventual gender. The ones who are more aggressive eventually become males, while the more docile ones become females.
DocHoff 142 Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 And here is my favorite critter, passed out with a coffee cup: 1
DocHoff 142 Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 And getting ready for my brother's wedding, in 2019: 1
