My armor is always open for reconfiguration, I often switch out rings and ammys depending on what lvl I am and what I've found. I've yet to find a nice ninja star. 

I did however hit a sudden wall after I had killed Miasma. Not in killing power or speed, but in that I discovered that I had 1 resurrection listed in my stats. Holy Hannah!:) I don't even remember having died. I must have fallen asleep while playing, died, gotten resurrected, awoken and kept playing without realizing what had happened. Luckily I've kept backups, so I have only about 10 levels to replay, but that is still the whole play in Silver. Now, technically I could just play on, but the perfectionist in me won't have it, so there we are. I do however expect this run in Silver to be much faster as I won't bother with any sidequests (except maybe for the one with the rockmusic instruments). 

While doing the Bug quest in Bronze, I found that the Crystal region (seraphim hunting grounds) give excellent xp. There are loads of elites and you won't have to worry about turtles death-aura, at least not in Bronze. The only thing that were (mildly) annoying were the crystal traps that stunned me once in a while.

same perfectionist here :) Don't forget to steal your chars gear, what you found in those 10 levels doesn't have to go to waste :)

Love the line of thought... at high levels debuffs can be needed ... so much can freeze you ( or do other horrible unholy things :oooo: ) .. when we tried to create a trimmed-down build only for Guardian Runs in Niobium we tried many CA's to see its effect on our final stop watch... some worked, some work ...meh...but its always seconds out of your timed run if yer trying to speed run against guardians...  did you have a chance to experiment... did this have effect on the turtles ? those turtles still give me nightmares

Thx a lot Gogo, you've done a herculean job and I can't thank you enough :D  I have no preferred order, they are all just examples of how the build work. 

I have decided to retire Bob. After a thorough look through all my backups I discovered that he was tainted already when I begun Silver at lvl 8. I must have been really out of it at that time. So, my new hero, albeit an evil one, is The Black Knight. Same build, same skills and equipment... at least til I find better stuff. And I still have Bobs gear from his adventures to pass on when that time comes :D so his effort won't be completely in vain. And I DID learn a few things playing him also, so that's not wasted either.

the "machine gun" was introduced in the cm patch. the projectiles and their mechanic are still the same from the base game. The "devs" didn't chose anything in EE, that's purely Flix's insanity. And his choice to switch out the sensible "energy staff weapon firing animation" for this bs is horrible. I don't want to play that character that you basically just described as a wet poodle... :4rofl:

I think making those would require a lot of time, multiplayer and a mod that adds female shadow warriors. I think it's easier to just adopt one from the character creation screen.

Hi Good morning all you lovely people!

And we now have uploads to the new SacredWiki Drive :JC_hurrah:  We're using an  google drive that had been in use before.  I can send invitations to anyone that is interested in wanting to share their videos on SacredWiki - DarkMatters Youtube :bounce: ... well start with uploads only for invitees and then perhaps think of making the link public... but we'll venture forth carefully.

I'm also hoping a test subject or two  will want to help us test and try and upload a new video soon so we can see how this new operations goes.  :devil:

please pm me your email 

( not necessarily the one you used to registered with at DarkMatters ) but the one that  you want to use as your *login* to the SacredWiki Drive...its pretty easy to do... the sacredwiki sends you an email invite with a link, you press the link, it takes you directly into SacredWiki drive and you can drag and drop or upload your videos from there.

So far we tested this with a Gmail and Hotmail and both worked almost instantly, no passwords required on anyone's end and even Oh Mighty Schot ( :schot:)  was grinning happily, his security, and our resources challenges satisfied :thumbsup:

SLD I hope this solves the problem of slow server upload for you especially as you were reporting slow times and for you Steve your security concerns :heart:

 

From SacredWiki Drive I can easily move the video into SacredWiki DarkMatters Youtube  after which I'll erase the upload to the SacredWiki Drive to maintain space. After one or two test runs I will then make a stickied thread for video uploads in our forum, after which if we see interest we may create a permanent link for video uploads.

And apologies Ric for always bringing Admin stuff into your topic... once this is done, it'll be clear, less-messier sailing for your build-forward topic...  :heart:

No need to apologize, it's good info. I would offer you a video right now, if it weren't for the fact that I'm at work and on my laptop and for some weird reason I can't get the Steam Overlay and video recording to work on Sacred 2 here. It SHOULD work, but it doesn't. Troubleshooting is ongoing. 

Edit 1: Ok so starting Steam as an Admin solved the issue. I'll be back with a nice vid to share.

woo hoo! this will be sweet if this method of uploads works! Nice trouble shooting with your lap top for Sacred 2  :viking:

.. Schot actually has a work laptop with the VPN installed that he installed from software...hes got it connected to two big massive monitors for all the data. (He can’t play sacred 2 either 😁).. I use an IGEL that runs the VPN automatically when I love in, and it runs the two monitors..nothing much larger than that, nice clean desk top ( he does L2 tech support , I do Telephony)

Good evening folks. For the newcomers, here's a short recap: While playing around with the mod Enhanced Edition for Sacred 2 I found that the energistic 2-hand weapon worked quite well with the Shadow Warriors Frenzied Rampage. So well in fact that I decided to make this guide. I started out with my toon Boomstick Bob, but at the lvl 55 I decided to retire him and resurrect him in the shape of The Black Knight, which I'm now working my way through Silver with. 

Here's a video of him taking on Griffin. 

His armor is full Denderans and his weapon is a regular yellow Energizer staff doing 183 base damage. Frenzied Rampage is modded for crit hits, double attack, double attack. .

Wonderful! Wonderful because... yeeeeeeeea haww... the video upload system works!!  I love seeing those bolts all flying out quickly in a row at the top of the  throw of the lacrosse stick ...and the sounds match it perfectly ... it was the life leech sounds originally when game was first released that instantly hooked me to Sacred 2...but then they had to cut out my fave part because they said it was making the game unstable... Watching a build like yours thats so nimble ...does he sometimes leap up and hop too?

Ric how are you levelling the build... do you have favorite areas?  Are you able use mounts, corral everything together then kill them all?  Of is this Ranged build style different?
For me, my 141 Dryad's fave levelling place was swamps...olms are delicious...but those spiders.... they can gang up on you and freeeze you up quickly.. and if your build has no exit strategy we can end up on that forest floor our mouth opened, web-filled, with a rictus of horror painted upon our face as we slowly sink into the ooze

Good evening :D At the moment I just run along the main questline and kill whatever throws itself at my face. A few sidequests here and there, like the Final Concert quest, or smaller ones not too far away from the Main Quest path. The woods south of Kufferath castle is ripe with elite boars, and the orc region has also a lot of elites. Actually.. with the Superspawn mod for EE there is no lack of elites anywhere. I just tried out the Orc Cave (there is a video of it in the google Drive now) and although I can see it's usefullness, it is also limited to the 4 orcs and the 2 tiny spiders. For levelling it goes faster just to roam the countryside than to dive in and out of that cave. Of course I opened the chest and ruined the respawning the first time I went there, but it worked fine in multiplayer games. And it might of course be more lucrative to go there in Gold, Plat and Niob. We'll see. Now, moving on to Seraphim Island. Which reminds me... the seraphim hunting grounds, in the Crystal region up in northwest, is an excellent levelling area and I never tire of watching the shattered crystals fly in slow-mo across the screen. 

As for the mount. The hellhound is a nice ride if you are just travelling somewhere with a purpose, and it's excellent against bosses because it doesn't spread out the shots like when you're on foot. But for killing loads of mobs all around you, it's better to be on foot. And the Killing Spree CA can be modded for more speed per hit, so it acts like the seraphims Dashing Alacrity, but only when you are on foot, not on the mount.

There is a connection between EE/Superspawn and Orc Cave seeming bad for levelling. You get more enemies outside the cave with these mods but the enemies inside are still the same. For my SP test BFG Sera I tried levelling outside the cave and it did not seem faster at all. Rather slower... The amount of loot per time was also far worse outside. I would actually have preferred levelling elsewhere, it was just not efficient enough with the normal lack of mob density. :cow:
