You get more enemies outside the cave with these mods but the enemies inside are still the same. For my SP test BFG Sera I tried levelling outside the cave and it did not seem faster at all. Rather slower... The amount of loot per time was also far worse outside. I would actually have preferred levelling elsewhere, it was just not efficient enough with the normal lack of mob density. Yes, I can see that because of how those toons differ in strike-pattern so to say. The BFG, and the SW on mount works pretty much the same, they shoot a superfast stream of projectiles towards 1 to 3 targets whereas the SW on foot shoots at up to a dozen or so and draws in more mobs towards himself that way. I often get swarmed by baddies and can just stand there in the middle and keep on shooting. I don't have the Challenge mod installed, but the extra added aggro-range should actually work in my favor as it would bring in even more mobs to the carnage I think I'll try it now. Edit 1: Well, the Challenge did indeed prove to be a greater challenge. 3 times in the short time I played I redlined because of the ranged mobs on Seraphin Island. They absolutely swarmed me. I had to chug nearly two pots, can you imagine:) It seems I need to upgrade my ranged defences. And possibly get more life-leech, I have only about 30 or so atm, not including the %LL from the armor (which is only 1% atm). Edited October 21 by ric7202 1 Link to comment

I thought the same way when I originally played EE. 46 minutes ago, ric7202 said: Yes, I can see that because of how those toons differ in strike-pattern so to say. I said nothing about the "strike-pattern". Just that without EE and Superspawn Orcs are far apart. And therefore 4 champs close together quickly resettable is "good". With EE and Superspawn you get a lot more orcs when running around but no superspawned cave to even it out, so the balance of which is better shifts in favor of the outside farming. 1 Link to comment

I love these kinds of challenges with builds...thanks for being so upfront, and constantly on the *push*.. it keeps things exciting and lets us see how pieces of your build puzzle are being put together Yah leech is the lovely source to almost everything...but for ranged SW.. is it only that single unique that has it? Ric uses the denderan set, the kanka set is also an option and tooth and nail works on every character class. Obviously all of these take quite some work so the Star of Astaroth would still be the easiest to get, as in EE that one is a quest reward for: https://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:The_Unholy_Crusade 1 Link to comment

And maybe pump Armor a bit more. I have 5 levels left to 65 so I think I'll live if I'm careful. And one thing I really must stress... be very aware that he might start shoot at some hidden mob, and then you're locked in the animation for perhaps a couple of seconds, which can be very fatal if you're not paying attention, especially when running the Superspawn and Challenge mods together. Other than that, it's a walk in the park. A very bloody and gory walk, but still... *grin* And I must say... my gear and weapon is nowhere near optimized yet. I still have some lvl 15 armor with simple +3LL runes in the only slot. Edited October 21 by ric7202 1 Link to comment

I was putting your videos in a playlist in SacredWiki DarkMatters ... if youre going to be as prolific with your videos as your marvelous energy, Id arrange them in a play list with a good header and links in your details as to where your build is coming form (this topic) and this way people can follow you back here, ask questions and even start to post their own ideas We are all connected gogo Link to comment

Let's leave the videos already there, there. It should be enough to get people interested and to come here instead to follow the continued journey. And as always, thanks for putting your time into sharing with us gogo The behaviour of the gun is different on foot or mounted. Mounted it behaves just like the seraphim BFG, short fast bursts that hits just a few enemies, I've never seen more than 3 go down per burst with that. It's quick but requires more aiming or choosing targets on your behalf. Not a bad choice, but different. On foot you get that lovely dance animation and he shoots at many more targets, provided they go down quickly. Which they do if you got the right equipment. And that's what makes this stand out from the other shooters a bit. Edit 1: Ohh I just remembered... the speed mod for Killing Spree does not work while on the mount. It has fixed speed. While Killing Spree is active and the speed kicks in, you'll run around like the veritable Seraphim on speed. Yes, it's Superspawn and Challenge mode. At that particulate place I don't know if it's a big difference. Maybe 1 smaller Demon instead of three, and perhaps a few less ordinary mobs. Yeah, I often do that, run past a few baddies who follow me and when I have like 10 or more I melt them down. But because this CA actually stops the animation when there are no more mobs in sight, it goes just as fast to just hit them directly when you see them. Of course, the CA regen time always applies, but with regen-per-hit and Focus and Concentration you'll soon get the regen times low enough. Frenzied starts out with a quite long regen, so don't expect to spam it in the early levels. Rounding up a bunch of mobs is therefore a good idea even at the start. One thing with this version of Sacred 2 is that it's much harder to get stuff with regen-per-hit. Before you could easily buy rings and so if you had a shopper, but now.. no such luck. I had to use those Set-rings for the Dryad (Ring of Heartscales). At low lvl they only give 0.1 sec per hit, but when you hit 5-10 enemies per burst, it works well enough.
