toret 0 Posted January 3, 2009 Clear weather with -19 C or -2.2 F. Still 12 more days till the sun starts to come up over the horizon here.

tomi 0 Author Posted January 4, 2009 ohh haha grats! didnt snow any yet this year...ok it's 4th of jan but neither in 2008 december. sob Well maybe better if it doesnt. ANd it's chilly! We count -4 and even -7, -9 sometimes in the afternoon. My puppy wants the summer back.
TelariTurunen 0 Posted January 4, 2009 it's snowing again. ok, yday it was nice and funny. SNOW. but tomorrow I have to go to school. not nice.
cyclops 15 Posted January 5, 2009 It was very, very hot earlier as temperature reached 41 C. So this is how Australian summer feels like!! When I went outside I felt like I was hit by a wall of hot air. Weather projection is hot for the remainder of the week.
Timotheus 430 Posted January 5, 2009 (edited) The complete opposite here. Max temp -3, snow and the roads are frozen... Edited January 5, 2009 by Timotheus
Arilaftia 1 Posted January 15, 2009 oh so very cold here, -17c atm and only to drop more the next few days
Zinsho 0 Posted January 15, 2009 Lucky there Ari... high today was -18C, -30 or lower with windchill, tomorrow the high should be -22.. just what I love.
cyclops 15 Posted January 15, 2009 very hot here with temperatures in excess of 42 C!! gimme some popsicles and ice creams
Genenut 8 Posted January 15, 2009 tongiht its supposed to be -20 to -30 F before the windchill is factored in .... *brr* to call it cold would be to imply its warmer than it really is ... 0F would be a heat wave ....
gial 2 Posted January 15, 2009 Oh for -18 C. High today was not quite that. I think NH has our weather too. We haven't seen the up side of 0F (-16C) in 3 days. Wish the burger joints were offering their usual winter special - burger for the temp at noon - they'd have been free all week. We usually see it one week each winter.
TelariTurunen 0 Posted January 16, 2009 it's only -3 C now, but in the morning it was -26 C. though I dont mind it and its snowing all the day.
tomi 0 Author Posted January 16, 2009 I havent seen any (much) snow yet this year... Weather is getting better and better, morning are not so chilly...Spring comes? Oo *2009. jan. 16.*
Genenut 8 Posted January 16, 2009 at 6am the temp was -28F.... at 7am when I had to leave for work it was -20f but the wind kicked up and with it was -32f .... my antifreeze in my car is only tested for -35f so if it gets any colder I'm not leaving the house.... by 4pm we had a heat wave at 10f ..... Sun has now gone down ... I expect the minus sign to show back up again... *brrrr*
Knuckles 904 Posted January 18, 2009 I live a bit south of Ari and Genenut so it's been only single digits here (degrees F). rarely goes below 0. But it has been the windiest one I can remember. Have had at least 20-30 wind advisories or warnings so far.
Flooxim 50 Posted January 18, 2009 -12°C here (-18°C with the wind) The intense cold should be over, and I'm really happy with that! It was -35°C with the week since wednesday. Max
gial 2 Posted January 18, 2009 Warm today -- 17F (about -8C) and light snow. Outright balmy for mid-January in Minnesota.
cyclops 15 Posted January 19, 2009 wow it's quite cold in your places guys!! It's a sweltering 35 C here
TelariTurunen 0 Posted January 19, 2009 0 C, sunny, no wind I think all that snow is going to melt down now
bhj 24 Posted January 19, 2009 +1C and almost gale force wind (but the sun is visible again) but what we need is a collective darkmatters vacation Everyone over to Jun´s place
cyclops 15 Posted January 21, 2009 did you just said my place? I dont think you guys will like it here because it's 40 C again with a forecast of an even hotter weekend!!
