  1. Hello my incredibly helpful DarkMatters kin. I have another question that I'm hoping you can help with. I've figure out that if you begin a quest (for example one, that invovles escorting someone) and for some reason you are unsuccessful (I.e. the person you are escorting is killed) it show at the bottom of your quest log that the quest was "failed". Okay, that makes sense. What I'm struggling with is a little different. There have been a few quests that I have started, talked to (almost) all the right people, killed all the right characters, picked up what I was supposed to, etc. Unfortunately, even though I've done all these things, when I try to move on to the last step of the quest, the person I'm supposed to talk to isn't there. Alternately, the arrow leads me to a place where I'm supposed to do a quest task but then I end up running around in circles trying to find the destination and following the (seemingly) unreachable silver arrow. One quest in particular is "The Escape". I followed all the instructions, killed the guards, etc. However Bacalio's father wasn't where he was supposed to be. I've searched the entire dungeon/sewer three times, read the wiki, followed the maps, but he's just not there. Is there any way to remove the quest from your log and/or move on without completing it? Your help is (as always) greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kat.
  2. Hello everyone, thanks again for your help in getting two players playing on one console. For some reason we can't trade but other than that, everything is working well. The sad part is, I'm now thoroughly addicted! Being the noob that I am, I jumped all over Ancaria when I was first figuring out how to read the map. I ended up completed all the quests in sections I and II then jumping all the way to section VII. I thought I could just go back and complete all the tasks I missed, silly me. I leveled up pretty quick trying to stay alive in the desert. Now, when I try to go back, my character audibly berates me for sticking around in areas that are no longer a challenge, I should go to Dyr-Lain, it's boring here, etc, etc. I thought that by completing all the class quests, the way to "move on" would be clear. Unfortunately it's not. Can anyone tell me the best way to move on to the next chapter? I haven't found anything in the Wiki just yet but I'll keep trying. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
  3. Thank you so much for recommending this link from the Wiki http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:2-Player_local_co-op_%28PS3%29 The instructions were clear and easy to follow and I was able to get started playing after only a few minutes Thanks again so much, this forum is the greatest!!
  4. I just wanted to say thank you ALL so much for your help!! I absolutely love this forum, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I will have to go and read the information you've posted, thank you again so much. I do have one other question, does anyone know how to create a second user account on the same console, and how to have both accounts join the same game?
  5. I got my PS3 for Christmas and Sacred 2 is the first game I purchased. I freely admit I'm a total game noob. I'm hoping you can help me. I picked up the game because (from what I read on the cover) two people can play on one console. I've tried everything I can think of to make this happen but it just doesn't work. I can start (continue) an offline game no problem but when another person tries to "join" (their character on my account, my console) it will only allow us to create a new character. As a result, my husband isn't able to save any of his progress in the game and the (only) two characters I have created (on my account) can't play together for whatever reason. The back cover says it's a 1-2 player (offline) game, but the "two players one console" instructions in the game guide just don't seem to work. Someone suggested that I need two XMB's but sadly I don't even know what that means. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong and how I can get two people, playing two characters in the same game, from the same console, at the same time? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, Katherine
