[Sacred Gold CD Version will not start win10]

I did download the patch.  It will not update due Sacred Underworld not being installed.

I have the CD version of Sacred Gold.  I recently had to upgrade to a win 10 64bit computer.  I installed the game and it will not start.  Cannot install patch because game will not start and let me upgrade to Sacred Underworld.

 

I have tried all the compatibility modes.  I have clicked and unclicked all the setting in the Config program .  It will not start.   I am running it as administrator.

I am still experiencing this problem even after all the changes you suggested.

 

I am running Sacred 2 Gold edition. I just downloaded it last night and installed it today.

 

EDIT: I just had to reboot my computer and the fields were filled in.
