nope, supposedly it doesn't work in campaign so its part of my boss grind on free play mode

I think the egg count as a boss since it surely drops like one, 1 legendary found on it currently.
Sooo.. I am on PS3 and have a character equipped w LL on my BFG seraphim but cannot seem to damage the Egg.. What am I not doing right? Or can you not kill the egg on consoles, does anyone know?

Thank you! Is there a reason that this doesnt show up on the wiki map of ancaria? I just looked all over it after I linked to Map of Ancaria off of the wiki and im pretty darn sure it wasnt on there.

My "nope" was to your question about if he was a campaign boss, and yes this can be a quite good place for legendaries if you are you lucky with his respawns.
O.k.... im fairly new to the game but not so new that I thought I was missing a dragon to kill. So is the dryad island you are talking about Dyr-Laigh? If so, where in the heck is the dragon I am missing?

O.k here is my character so far.

So, my question to all you seraphim experts out there is do I take EP or WEL as my last skill choice? My ONLY plan w this build is mfing in Niob difficulty so would it be prudent to take ep to max my chance to find items or max warding energy to help w my survivability in Niob? I plan to run the final boss many times and the 4th guardian has nasty criticals so I am leaning towards WEL, but have read a few threads that say WEL isnt super strong in Niob, is this true? I have never had a high level seraphim before so any advice would be very helpful. Thanks!

I also play on the PS3 so I understand a bit what you mean about not having a leg up like the PC users seem to........but........I have played quite a few different characters now in the game and I find what I am really enjoying now is making and experimenting w new charcters. Let me explain. Yes the game's actual story and ending are fairly blase and dont change w the new difficulty levels and a large portion of the quests are fetch me this and kill that guy quests. But what I am really enjoying is building new characters in new ways. For example, I currently have 5 Temple Guardians ranging from a level 133 who walks through Niob difficulty with ease, to a lowly lvl41 Temple Guardian who is struggling in silver lol. I have found that the more I play, the deeper that I find the character building to be.....that is where I am really starting to enjoy the game. I wont lie, im an old school grinder from Diablo 2 who has no problems farming bosses FOREVER for items and levels, and there is some of that required in the game but if you gave up before you had a least one or two different characters from different classes up to level 75-100 you are truly missing out on a large part of the game IMO. Once you are able to develop a character from level one and see how the skills YOU pick totally change the characteristics of your toons from level 1 to level 100+ its a lot o fun. For me anyway lol. Plus if you need some freebies on PS3 there are a few of us out there w deep pockets full of free stuff!

Just a quick question on BFG (sitting in the office so can't try it just yet but looks very interesting) I've been only playing a Dryad and few different Shadow Warrior builds...but this BFG Seraphim looks really interesting. I've read Dobri's well written guild on the build. But since I've never tried it can someone enlighten me.
I'm confused on the actual BFG buff. Do you get a ranged weapon when in use? or U need to equip a ranged weapon and it becomes the BFG ranged weapon?
O.k. in relation to this question I have one of my own. When I first built my BFG seraphim I made her a set of +skills/deathblow/rph gear to help the new char, I also created a sword and shield w plus all skills stats on it. My question is, when I turn on my BFG, and I check my skills screen, all the bonuses that were added from the sword and shield are lost until I turn off bfg. I am on ps3 just fyi, so is there a way to equip say a ranged weapon or something to get the bonuses that are on the weapons? Or should I not even bother to equip a weapon? Any info would be helpful thanx!

A good run to do :
In dryad Island, go on Slain Antaigh, and enter in the Girvym cave.
Kills monsters in this order :
Animals -> Bloodryads -> Elementals -> Mini dragons -> Dragon boss
Go out of the cave with the mini portal and re-enter in it to respawn everything : now you've the same number of monsters, and a new fresh dragon boss !
Mob-runs + Bossruns with good experience respawnable in the same cave !
The dragon respawns? I have run the cave and run it Clockwise ending with the Dragon. never thought the dragon would respawn.
that is where EP would have been a lifesaver. experience on gear enhanced by every point in EP makes a quick 200-300% XP kit. But.... that too has limits, and in the end you'll end up under 1K for most mobs.How is that possible? or does the level gap shrink to almost nothing. what was the monsters level compared to your level Barris?

I just got this game in after buying it online and have spent a little time trying to get familiar with it. My biggest hinderance in learning is coming from the unforunate fact that my TV is simply terrible for displaying the text of this game. Everything else is fine, I just have extreme difficulty reading the text of items, abilities, stats, quests, and well.. everything. Its making what would be an enjoyable experience extremely tedious and almost unbearable.
I've been putting off investing in a TV from this century for a while and it looks like this may be my breaking point heh. Anyone have any reccomendations?
I bough a Panasonic 40 somethin HD flatscreen last year for a reasonable amount of cash and have had great luck with it. It seems to be very good with my ps3 as far as color and all that. Hope that helps.

Well the sacred wiki says the following:"Map Revealed" is a statistic in Sacred 2 that increases as a character explores Ancaria. 25% of it's sum is granted as "Chance to find special items".
And that should hold true for the consoles. I read somewhere recently that consoles were incorrectly reporting the actual map revealed value, but dont actually know whether or not this is the case and whether or not it would affect the resultant item find bonus.

O.k. I've read a whole pile of threads, and a few touch on this topic. I am currently 130 DS Area of Effect Temple Guardian and am in the process of mfing to gain levels/items. I read in a thread the other day how the percentage of map revealed affects drop rate ot somesuch, is this true, does anyone have any info. Plus I am on the PS3 so if it does affect anything does it do the same on consoles? Any info would be great thanks!

Added two more of the NPC seraphim-type armors. There's so much armor it's difficult to tell what goes with what. I know there are at least 2 other colors of the Revelation of the Seraphim armor set that I'm working on compiling.
Keep working on it you have made great progress so far! Really cool idea and fun to look at I will recheck this thread from time to time to see if you have any new ones!

that's just it, I thought I bought it at the high elf camp north of the river near where it all starts.... I've gone back there and there is a stables but no horse trader. This is what has confused me.
Are there any other horse traders around the first area? Or are they in different places each game?
I had thought about doing the uniqu quest, crazy thing is I'm quite anal about the map and want to clear a whole area before I go on to the next... a bit of OCD I think
Lol my suggestion would be the same. Take a pill for the ocd and burn through to get your unique mount then backtrack to finish off the map, you will be VERYhappy that you did.

Haven't tried out the mages yet, but the ones I have in my party is way to squishy for me to want to try out one, always liked the warrior/tanks best and mostly found mages boring in games I have played.
Man the only char I really like to play in the new Dragon Age is tha mage. You take the fire tree all the way up and acquire paralysis spells plus the Healer/ Magic Warrior(or whatevere it is called I can't remember) specialties, u have a mage who an wear the best armor in the game w no penalties, a magic dispeller for those pesky mages on higher levels, a whole party healer, and an Area of Effect damage killer. I have played all classes and races but I like the pure mage by far the best.

O.k. first off I just got my first character over level 100 and he is now at level 118 in Niob! Woohoo! ( O.k. done tooting my horn now.) Secondly I want to congratulate any and all players who have chars level 125+. I am slowly realizing that the grind time is substantially increasing the higher I get above level 100. So, my first question is what are some good high level strategies to maximize your time? Right now I have about 55% xp per kill on items , 80% survival bonus, using mentor potions and have been running the boar, grunwald dragon, and collosus in niob not only for items but for xp. Sooooo.... any help on stuff im missing or strategies I could use would be great! Thanks!

If you started playind D2 again I think you would be amazed how many people still play. It is awesome and sad at the same time lol. And yes I do have a meteorb and a hammerdin and all the uber items you get after playing for 10 years! Now I am working on collecting them in Sacred 2, I just got my first char, an DS Area of Effect Temple Guardian over level 100! Although to be honest, I havent logged in to Diablo in about a year myself.

Well Matt it is a nice find non the less, but not a random legendary drop. it was the reward for finishing the class quest for the Temple Guardian. you can get one every camp level. The very last step of the long class chain quest dropped this little gem for ya.

Well, I couldn't log in yesterday it would not accept my password, so I filed in the lost password form thinking maybe something dumb happened along the lines but it never worked. Today I was over in the shop and I was logged in on the site at the shop computer from last weekend and it let me in and I didn't think anything of it, so when I left I logged out and havent been able to get back in on my computer or my wifes at home. Nothing was working so I just madea new account and was going to zip Schot an email letting him know, was that not o.k.?

I have to say if you only had one guy at level 52 you only scratched the surface of this game! It sucks to lose your guy but take heart, with a few solid hours playing you will be well on your way to restocking that empty stash and leveling that new guy lol. Keep in mind that most guys on here like me have had 30-50 characters at level 50 plus and we are still playing! Good luck w your new guys!
