  1. Lookin pretty cool there dreeft. I like the tags in the background. Hmmmm... Are those paint cans in your hands? :P

Ok, I'll give in and make a contribution. It's been a loooong time since a camera last caught me. Here's my impression of my favorite smiley at FDM. I call it:

    LOLme ^^

    Lol good one Schot. ;)

Dont feel bad I hate being caught by the camera too. :badbad:

    Cheers ^-^

  2. Hiya, Scyle!

I suggest you play online whenever possible. Just make a private game and that way you can limit anyone joining your game to someone you know! And, online, you can make friends, the #1 source for your good equipment!

Offline playing is good only if you're doing something cheaty (like Viperish Disease exploit for Dryads) and you don't care about finding lots of loot.

Loot is better online than off, from what the online players say (I play offline).

    Enjoy Ancaria!

PS I'll need that cookie FedEx so I can enjoy it with lunch :)

    Lol Scott :)

  3. I would suggest you try one of these builds then.

http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=9686 This is a shopper build which will help you outfit any toon that you will make later on. A very popular build btw, lots of people like this one.

http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=8895 This one is written by the same person who made the shopper build above.

  4. Wow... I really thank you all ! Right now im playing my seraphim (level 2 just started) and im asking...What Skills Should I put into? if some1 can give me a exact or something like that

    1. ?

    2: ? x 4 Etc?

That would be really helpful ^^

More questions incoming as fast as I get them!

What do you want to play as? Ranged, Caster or Fighter?

  5. You could do a combo of Soul Hammer n Pelting Strikes for bosses/champions. Then use Pelting Strikes for regular mobs.

Yea but you see the thing is, I'd kinda like to keep exalted at 9 or 31 to keep points for other skills (I'll save up lots of points before 65 for bargaining.) If you had to mod only one of either Soul Hammer or Pelting what would it be?

I'd go for Pelting Strikes. Tactics Lore will add mod points for exalted warrior tree.

  6. Thanks for all the info so far... I was farming gargantropod earlier and never could force a drop.. but I tried a moment ago and was rewarded a 2 star shrunken insect head, when I use it I summon a scorpion but is this the yellow head?

Your on console so it goes by star system.

0 stars = normal item (white on PC)

1 star = Magic item (bule on pc)

2 star = Rare item (yellow on PC)

3 star = set or unique item (gold or green on PC),

4 star = Legendary item (orange on PC)

    Cheers ^-^

  7. I just wanna say im following your build here on the 360 with my Temple Guardian and it rocks cant wait to hit high lvls and really bring the pain thanx for posting also how are you useing that staff just were I am at momenti cant equip staff with out spening points?

What do you mean with out spending points? The staff that he has is one handed. I like his build also, wish the blacksmithing worked cause he also has a awesome guide made with smithing in it.

  8. Finished!

My wonderful fiancée is a ninja with a scalpel (more proof here) and has cut the whole thing out for me, even going so far as to get all of the rips and tears.

If you notice any inconsistencies they're probably from my terrible taping skills :P

Thats awesome. Wish I had a poster size map of Ascaron.

3 cheers for your wife! :):):D

    Chere ^-^

Hey Dreeft where did your wife get those cubes? I want a Domo one. hehe :)

  9. Who here is watching the new Doctor Who Season 5? I"m looking forward to seeing how the new doctor plays out since David Tenant is no longer playing as the doctor.

    Cheers ^-^

  10. I find relics REALLY help with weathering the guardians. I don't know why noone has done it yet... but it really should be mapped exactly which of the guardians in the cardinal directions have the different element setups. For example, I find that when I am doing runs, I was always entering the room by the same door. After a matter of testing I was able to determine for...from that same door I was entering by, which Guardian would attack me first and which relic shield I would have to throw up.

My order was magic, fire ice poison.

The poison guardian has the HUGEST number of healthpoints.

Depending on which door you enter through your order may be different. Don't discount the use of the relics make sure you have the absolute highest resistances you can possibly socket in and go on...

    make that run

    r a w r !

    :viking:

    p.s R A W R! :D

    AAAAhhhhh! Run Away........ :oooo::oooo: :oooo:

  11. Gogo, here's a simple guardian farmer build for you:

    Seraphim

    Celestial set + Endijian wings

    Shuriken + Glacial Defender Shield

    Build:

Ranged Weapons - faster shuriken attacks

Armor Lore - wear better sets

Exalted Focus - to quickly mod battle stance, dashing alacrity and pelting strikes

Constitution - for more HP, just in case

    Toughness - better Damage Mitigation

Shield Lore - wear better Glacial Defenders + Better chance to block + Better def rating

    Enhanced Perception - items FTW

    Bargaining - the necessary skill

2 free skills (currently mine are revered focus + concentration, but I find them unnecessary)

-> so I would suggest... hold on to something...

--> Speed lore - adds atk/def rating, might save you a few precious mods for more + All skills or more + XP per kill

--> Alchemy - makes the strong mentor pot last through the entire run

    Masteries obtained in this order:

    Armor Lore/Exalted Focus/Constitution - by level 75

Ranged Weapons - by level 80

Toughness - by level 95 or so

Shield lore - by level 110

Then master Bargaining and the other skills.

    Sockets:

half of the sockets - + All Skills/- opponent chance to evade/XP per kill

the other half - +XP per kill/+opponent chance cannot evade attacks

-> BUT do not go way over 100% chance to hit the nameless guardians, or your wasting your mods.

    What does this build have:

    - big damage mitigation

    - big blocking

    - enough HP

    - some reflection and evasion

    - fast levelups

    - great LL%, which means invulnerability - at level 130 I have 4%, which drops a guardian in less than a minute without suffering any damage

Now simply grind the guardians till level 165 and never worry about dying. That's what I do to get my shopper to level 140 and I get a level every hour or so alone. In my opinion, this is the safest way to get a shopper to level 165 without dying and get a bunch of legendaries in the process. Oh, and not to mention less playing time. I don't feel any pleasure in having to grind various areas for 3-4 hours to get a level...

In the end, I think I'm going to post that build as a full guide someday, since it's tried and true :D

That sounds like a fun build definetly would like to see a guide someday too. :(
