[GUI hidden...]

I normally cannot last that long, but there is one forum type thing I am a member of that I have never posted on for 2 years now. Mainly as I don't want to be proven to be an idiot. Silence doesn't give that clue. Lurking is a great way to learn from other people's mistakes.

When I first installed the game and patched it up to the latest version, I created a new account so I could play online but then thought I would play through the single player campaign first so I would not look like a total idiot when I started playing online.

 

Having played for a bit now I was thinking of going online only to find that I cannot remember the password I used nor the username I registered as!

 

There is a help feature for recovering your password but it requires me to remember the username I used which I have forgotten. Can anyone tell me how I can recover this information so that I can start playing online?

I was sorta multitasking, when I looked back at my screen, and my GUI vanished... I can't find the button to bring it back, and nor can I find it in the options, anyone know what the button is to toggle?

I have had this happen a few times. I think it is tied to using the tab map and/or main map. When this happens to me, I open the main map and close it again and this has always (so far at least) restored my GUI. Give it a try if it happens again.
