  1. Yeah.. But you'd think there would at least be a small thing set up for this promotion... The stores I'm talking about two of the biggest named chains. I'd kind of expect that kind of thing from a smaller chain.

But I do know what you mean. Can't have a proper bowl of Pho without Sambal Oleak, Hosin sauce and Sriracha.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup. it can be made of either beef or chicken, rice noodles, and various vegetables including bean sprout, basil leaf, thinly sliced jalapeno rings. 2 kinds of onions (white onion and scallion) and cilantro/coriander leaf.

They say chicken noodle soup is "Jewish penicillin" - and if that's the case, this stuff is Vietnamese penicillin.

  2. Christmas Island was added in the 2.34 patch and subsequently was removed in the very next one (2.40). Presumably, this was released during the Christmas season following the game's release.

According to the info on the Sacred 2 Map (top RIGHT corner), all other versions of the game came with the Northland Expedition quest instead.

The CM Patch got it's start by providing the means to re-enable the "Can Christmas be Saved" quest chain. All subsequent versions of the patch have had both quest chains.

    Edit: DOH!

  3. Well.. Concentration for sure.. Combat Discipline is good.. Toughness is also a good option.

But go for Source Warden Focus ONLY if you plan on using CAs from that aspect regularly on an offensive basis. It would be a wasted skill if you're not going to do much, if anything with the CAs there.

Look at what skills you use regularly and then work on boosting them. If you've got all the bases there covered, then look around and see what else needs to be bolstered.

  4. Gogo - I dunno... I think whoever cooked up the Blank level 200 characters likely played the game for a while and then zeroed out everything except the gold stash - leaving whatever they had at the time in the pot. The amount varies..

Claudius - you can probably do MUCH better, gear wise... Find the armor set you like in level 200, then add jewelry and such to boost Blacksmithing. There's probably some +x Blacksmithing uniques or legendaries out there.

  5. John...

    Take Toughness AND Concentration, then.

As I said previously... The faster you can spam death onto your enemies, the less chance they have of killing you.

It is FAR better to keep your CA regen times reasonable and be able to use your CAs in a way you can use them quickly, than to eat every rune in sight for that CA and find yourself waiting as your enemies are pounding you into the ground..

It's also my understanding that Regen per Hit also works on the console... Get some of those and wear or socket them.

Yes, you will probably be sacrificing some defense - but you also need to think offense. There needs to be balance in the two.

  6. Of course it is... I've been disappointed many times by items with that mod - and nothing else.

That would depend largely on what, IF any other modifiers are on that ring.. If it's got something worth having and fits you build, and you can use it - then by all means - do so.. But if it's got nothing else - just sell it and be done with it.

  7. Yeah.. Nora... She's a real piece of work. I find her weapon a bit interesting though..

On the other hand, Ruby's solution for taking out that bird thing was kinda insane as well.

Jaune... Wonder how long it will take to sink in for him that he's got a himself quite a catch in his teammate and will stop fawning over Weiss.. I suppose it was nice of him to play landing pad for her tho...

  8. Actually.. that's close - but not quite. Let's say you have a ring you bought at the merchant for 1000 Gold. You then no longer want it because you found something better. It has a +60% selling price modifier. You go to the merchant you can now sell it for 60% of what you got it for - 600 gold.

Most items you buy from merchants (or for that matter, find anywhere) will not net you that kind of return. When you buy items without the Selling Price modifier for that same 1000 gold, you will be lucky to get maybe 10% or 100 gold for it when you sell it.

Another way to look at it... If you find an item with a 60% Selling Price modifier and you sell it for let's say 600 Gold, and you realize you made a mistake and want to buy it back from the merchant, you should find the item selling for 1000 Gold in that merchant's bins.

Items without the modifier will see a more significant increase in their price.

  9. Well the swelling nearly all gone. This morning I noticed a significant amount of swelling was gone but what I also noticed was that the pain was up a fair bit too. Not terrible but enough so that if I even attempted to put weight on the ankle that my ankle would scream pain at me. "ok ok ok!" haha.

Still haven't seen a doctor yet. It's been a week now so I'll go tomorrow and get some advice. I confess. I hate doctors. They never seem very accurate in their diagnosies and more often than not they won't even diagnose.

Well.. That IS why they call it PRACTICING medicine...

Ever watch "House" on TV? They seem to go through 50 diagnosis per episode to save people's lives until they finally reach the one that saves the guy's life (or not).

  10. If the image has a page of it's own, then sure, but if there's no page for imageX.jpg, you cant use the file:imagex.jpg tag to put it on a page. The upload procedure creates the page and the token so you can use it later on elsewhere on the wiki. Otherwise you'd have to use the full URL and only the person who uploaded it would know what/where it was. Too much of a royal PITA ...

  11. Augmint is right.. Bring on the torches and light that puppy up! After all, Forest Guardian is what - nothing more than a TREE... So don't listen to Smokey the Bear - and go play with some matches around him.. :D

But er.. "Level 10 sets?" That doesn't sound right somehow. In the PC version they go from gray, white, blue, yellow, green (set items), gold (unique) and orange (legendary). The level of items usually drop within the range of the baddy's level - + or - a level or two. In other words, if you're battling against a level 50 opponent, the item(s) that drop should be around level 50... Getting a Level 10 set item would be pretty much impossible as all set items start at level 15...
