  1. The only thing S3 leaves me wanting to get the game is the ever long question:

Can you dodgeroll through the whole game or not?

Yes, sort of. If you have an game pad then probably yes but if you are using a mouse like me it's difficult to implement, I spent most time rolling backwards. Dodging is one of two skills that you can have, two seems to be the max. Combat arts are also limited to two as well, you just choose new ones when they are unlocked (using gold).

  2. Well I was one of the ones that preordered it. Well it certainly is not a sacred game, more like a hacknslash game. There are no drops other than gold (which you can't actually use) as far as can see. There also gold/green globes that drop which replenish your health and energy bars. I've only played an hour and I'm struggling to stay interested in the game. I want to at least complete the game so I can at least get my moneys worth. Oh, almost forgot you get a new weapon when you beat the end level boss. ;)

So If you haven't got it I would probably suggest you don't bother as the only thing that is Sacred is in the name, and the Seraphim.

  3. Now this is a good video about the game, as it shows actual continuous gameplay and menu system. I don’t speak German ether, but I know enough of the language to translate the following:

Guy on the right is Patrick - the “creative producer” for Sacred 3.

Release date – 1 of August.

    Sacred 3 is a Hack-and-Slash action arcade.

A slip of the new intro cutscene cartoon is shown at 2:50 and another is at 3:05.

Easy to join coop play – press start on second controller and select class. Simple departure from coop play at any time.

At 8:10 some kind of fan gets turned on and off... or is that the soundtrack on low volume?

    You level up VERY slowly.

At 12:30 they show the not the best looking skill level up system...

Patrick said you can customize the PC into an Avenger or an X-men...

At 14:05 you can see what boss soles you can... Wait! BattleMage? Elf? Daemon, Dryad, Gladiator... :viking: Grr

Besessener mensch and Drache are new.

    Kratos is a Gladiator.

    Sigh...

Number of ingame dwarves, TGs, vampires – still 0

So who among us will be buying the game to give it a full fan review?

Well I've pre-ordered it, that was before I read the posts in the Steam forums....

  4. SC looks to be almost the same as Orcs must die! And being a scrolling platform? I feel like someone dropped me into the dark old days of platform games. :dntknw: Is it really worth getting it? I think I'm going to keep hold of my hard earned cash and wait for S3. :smart:

  5. How do I get rid of an annoying follower. I did a quest for the Inquistion and now I've got some Lietenant flowing me around and I can't seem to get rid of her. She was supposed to teleport back to the Inquistion dungeon after the completion of the quest but hasn't done so. Anyway of removing her.

Edit - I'm also using CM Patch.

  6. I know what you mean, but I was curious about basic physical damage Blowpipes that have secondary damage on them I.e. 2% weaken etc. I was just wondering if Damage lore increased these base stats or just the elemental damage that you get when you socket them. I know later you tend to get them with some other damage other than physical, especially with a shopper like my dryad in which case it takes that as a base to work from.

  7. I am not 100% positive on this question.

The most logical would be...if your Damage Lore is mastered and your getting the mastery bonus modifier. The blowpipe you are using has native damage properties. For example, chance to burn +X%. Then the mastery bonus would stack on top of this native +X% value creating a higher value.

I do not think just because you are using a blowpipe and have Damage Lore, you will see a benefit from either. Damage Lore has to have something to work off of for it to take effect.

    I remain,

Yeah , thinking about it you are probably right. Only lists the damage of socketed item. But Blowpipes have a base 2% weaken, poison, fire and frost? So I guess you get 2% base chance of one of the effects depending on what item is socketed. :)

  8. If you use a blowgun with Damage lore do you get all the possible damage bonus or just the one you have socketed I.e. magic pearl - weakness or do you get all the possible damages weakness, fire, frost and poison?

  9. No, those numbers wouldn't change with Tactics Lore. My understanding is that % bonuses aren't affected by Lores (generally).

Claudius, I'd expect that CD would boost the "et_damage_any_rel" amount, though I don't know if it would be multiplicative or additive. I tried working out how CD boosts damage but couldn't get anywhere.

So basically Combat discipline is added to CA damage before bonus damage given by Tactics to weapon CAs?

  10. Indeed. Tho I thought it was level 15 before the set items started appearing...

Maybe you've got Armor lore or something that allows you to use higher levels without penalty...?

I had Armor lore but only 1 point invested in it. Maybe it's because I went through part of bronze to get special mount and it was the first quest I did in silver that I got the set items. It was that quest you have to get the turtle eggs back, he dropped the eggs plus 2 set items. :gun2:
