  1. Weapon lore bonuses do not stack.

The double hit is a possibility, but with certain character mods, and 1 weapon lore, this is more than sufficient.

I.e. Shadow warrior; 2 double hit mods on frenzied rampage + weapon lore = almost always double hit at higher levels.

Regardless, it would be interesting to know for sure.

EDIT* this info only applies to the PC version with the expansion.

    Cheers,

I guess the extra damage my dual wield hafted weapons Inquisitor is doing comes from Memetar's Protector damage:physical 12.8% and Hammer of the North damage:ice 12.1% unlocked by having hafted weapons lore? But isn't that stacking modifiers? He doesn't have any double hit mods.

your Inquisitor does he use ruthless mutilation CA if so did you mod the gold slot to frenzy if so this will add a chance for double hits not the weapons themselves.

    just a thought

  2. You'd be doing yourself a favor by running away from me if you saw me brandish a pencil anywhere near your avatar. :)

Hopefully someone with skills better than mine can come up with something snazzy ^^

    :)

    gogo

can't I just stab you in the arm with said pencil to teach you a valuable lesson on not to do what your not good at lol

  5. Havent been a sacred player that long about 7 months or so, so im still a baby in the eyes of ascaron. However I bought sacred 2 because a friend of mine who hates RPG's bought it and told me about it so I figured if he bought it it must be good. my younger brother found a copy of sacred 1 gold in a bargin bin at PC world for like £1 have given that a go (with the deamon) but havent got far like level 10 lol.

that being said if DS can deliver the same vastness in game size, number of quests, possiblities with character builds and all the goodness seen from Sacred 2 without none of the bugs and glitches and a possibility for DLC to get new updates on consoles then my money will be well and truelly spent

  6. I believe the above is correct. I have an Inquisitor that DW's, and when you look at weapon level without penalty etc on DW its the same as that on sword weapons, however DW will not help out in stacking effects with SW or even hafted. So if your looking to get the biggest benefit from this you will need both DW and sword weapons and if you plan on going for axes and maces (some of which are quite nice) you could even take hafted weapons.

You then need to ask yourself can you afford to commit 3 skill slots to offensive skills alone, 4 if you want tactics lore.

    this just my thoughts

  7. I have found only one 4 star item, it's a weapon with "Ker" in the name, a mace. funny thing is that it doesn't seem all that great.

I've redone my chars many times and reached Niob once, then realized yet another build sucked and restarted him.

ker's septor Inquisitor class quest item

    4*

level same as yours when you get it

  8. Killing rabbits! You outta be ashamed, Inquisitor! You can't convert those fluffy little annoying rodents. Makes me wish you could waste the innocents in town.

BTW- That quest to get rid of the rabbits is the most annoying one in the game.

have you seen monty pythons the holy grail.... all rabbits are evil and must be killed

  9. Im currently running round the grand inquisitors garden in thylisium killing the rabbits with a LA

    what has come over me?

Maybe you got frustrated because the big rabbit with the "?!" running around won't talk to you? There's a line before the quest that one of the NPCs utters about "Talk to the rabbit" and you tried to do so?!

nah its just on the mini map they actually appear as enemies so I decided to kill them (how a rabbit compares to a shaman or a wild boar or even xanthia is beyond me, but hey their enemies nonetheless)

There's a quest associated with the rabbits.. The gardener in the northern side of the temple grounds wants you to whack the rabbits cause they're eating his flowers. Might wanna have a chat with the old boy..

    wikkid cheers

  10. Seraphim: lumen

    Dryad: kybele

    Temple Guardian: testa

    High Elf: florens

    Shadow Warrior: kuan

    Inquisitor: ker

Ideally this is the dest set up for each character as each 1 compliments a specific character

However I like to take kuan with the Inquisitor given he is very close combat I like to take the edge off in extreme cases where a CM+LA doesnt help out much.

single play I havent really got a "preffered" deity as such but multi player I would say either kuan, testa or lumen all have abilities that affect either the whole party or multiple enemies

    this my opinion though

  12. What's a LA?

    What's a rabbit's splat factor like

    :)

    gogo

LA = levin array CA for the Inquisitor or force lightning as I like to call it

and using eruptive desecration on a rabbit is amusing and im pretty sure you can't get that many guts into a rabbit that big lol

was only gaining 1EXP per kill for the wabbits

  13. I dunno how it could work on the PC version but if you play on the console weather its PS3 or 360 when your toon dies just eject the disk or turn it off if done quick enough it will happen before the death is registered then just reload from your last res monolith saving you hours of gameplay and not needing to delete restart

Once again, yes this is possible but not the point of console hardcore. If you are playing console hardcore and your character dies, you delete the character. If you are not playing that way, you simply respawn at the last Monolith you activated and continue on your journey. The only reason I could justify turning off the console would be if you were trying to preserve your Survival bonus, but once again if your playing "console hardcore" your dead anyways.

Regarding your thoughts on not using PC at all...I took it for the nice damage increase you get while running the melee side of the build. Using niob smith arts for the defense and armor makes the character strong as steel, so the extra healing and evasion from SR wasn't really needed. But yes, if you are using Soul Reaver, do not use PC as they are counterproductive together.

I've never had my ZD use any of the nefarious CAs (it's been awhile since I've played Inqui) but it might be possible do to a bug or some such :)

I'm a little slow on the uptake please define console "hardcore"

  14. can't that corrupt your data if you eject after it triggers the save though?

Nope, as the eject happens when your toon dies there is like 5 seconds between death and the save/revive, when it registers the death of a toon and revives you so do it when he/she hits the floor and you shouldnt have to worry about it. Think of it as a quit without saving kinda option

Also on a side note about the ZD I know you get the choice to have him learn either gruesome inquisition or astute supremacy, but has anyone had their ZD use Combat Arts from netherious netherworld? Mine does all the time I will be walking round with the ZD (as a buff) and I will notice he uses SR which annoys me as he nicks my souls I have also noticed he uses inexonourable subjugation as well. I was under the impression he didnt have access to them Combat Arts
