  1. Well here are some suggestions:

    The Smith could be based of the S1 Hell Golem model (http://www.sacredwiki.org/images/Enemies/monsters/hellgolemgreypic.jpg)

    Fangskin shares some similarities with S1's wreathed chokers (http://www.sacredwiki.org/images/Enemies/monsters/WreathedChokerMOnsters.jpg)

    Battlemaid Sarina could either be an Inquisition Guard or you could try to implement the S1 model of Dark Elf Matriarchs (http://www.sacredwiki.org/images/Enemies/elves/darkelvenpriestesselves.jpg)

    Icehawk riftwing could either be a S1 Golem or even a Sakkara Demon

    The members of the travincal high council (ismail and company) could be made of Sacred 2 high elf inquisitors (or human dark mages).

    Izual is supposedly a fallen angel, so I guess that either the Dark Seraphim or the common Seraphim with a black and white version of sophia's armor could fit. Yeah I know he's a huge male demon-boss in the game, but nobody minds boobs once in a while.

    Diablo (actually, Diablo in D3), bears some resemblance with anducar's demon form, might be worth a try?

    The three barbarian super uniques in D2 LOD could be replaced with shadow warrior npcs using a pretty set of armor and weapons.

    Some other models which have been rarely used in game could also work out as bosses/superuniques, as they are either useless NPCs or very rarely seen: Witches , Undead Legion Mages, S1's Anducar and Shaddar, etc.

    Another funny idea for superuniques would be actual characters (like those in the Age of Heroes mod) using a certain set of skills, emulating pvp. Considering the new mounts should also work if used for NPCs, I belive battling a high elf boss riding her dragon pet would be quite amazing.

  2. (Please make a backup of any files you are possibly going to edit!)

    The easiest way to get a specific item or even whole sets, is adding it as reward to a silly side quest inside the quest.txt (scripts/server folder). The most fitting quest for this purpose is the Rune tutorial. (if you did it in campaign mode already, just start a new game on a different difficulty or a simple Free Play game on LAN).

    First of all, you need to find the blueprint ID of the item you wish to get.

    For example 4109 is the ID for Horns of the Forest God.

    Now search for the reward script for your class of the quest needed:

    Use the search function and look for : "S_HE_2c_DY_nn-Tutorial_Runemaster_Runedrop",

    (note: DY stands for dryad, thus apply the same logic on any other character)

    You'll find yourself infront of this:

    quest.createQuest(3081, {
    id = 3081,
    name = "S_HE_2c_DY_nn-Tutorial_Runemaster_Runedrop",
    questtype = 3,
    silent=1,
    ismainquest = 0,
    mainquestchapter = 0,
    questbookstrategy = 0,
    continues_quest_id = 946,
    continues_bookentry = 2891,
    forpathnot = 0,
    reservedforpath = 0,
    reservedforhero = 2,
    reservedforgod = 0,
    reward_exp=0,
    reward_gold=0,
    reward_drop=0,
    reward_attr=0,
    reward_skill=0,
    report_required = 0,
    dangerclass=1,
    author_ready = 0,
    qa_ready = 0,
    releasestage = 30,
    progress = 0,
    autostart = 0,
    anyprequest = 0,
    showdlgonwin = 0,
    lostondecline = 0,
    rewards = {
    {1491,0},
    {1479,0},
    },

    The final numbers you see there (1491 and 1479) are the blueprint IDs of the oirignal rewards for the quest, which are usually two runes for your class. The 0s following the ID stand for the quantity. 0 by default means 1 item only. switch to 2 if you want to get the reward twice, et caetera.

    Switch the IDs with those of the items you want to obtain and save the file.

    Thus: 1491 -> 4109 .

    Start a new game, complete the quest and pick up your reward, done.

    This method may seem a little unorthodox and complicated, but trust me when you get used to it, it will be much faster than attempting to drop a whole set randomly from mobs.

  3. Hello there,

    I've always been fascinated by the amazing Endijian energy-wings, however I am not a fan of military/pseudo-technological armor, hence why I've been trying to isolate the energy part from the terribly ugly backpack they are attached to.

    I've managed to turn the backpack invisible by editing the alpha channel of the .dds texture, however the energy wings remain separated from the body by a quite huge gap, which is not very appealing in my opinion.

    I suppose I'd need to edit the 3D model directly in order to achieve the wanted result, but I'm not very skilled at it.

    Would it be possible for any of the skilled modders which are still lurking around this forum to help me with my little project?

    What I'm wishing, in short terms, is :

    -complete removal of the Backpack from the Ancient-Wing.gr2.

    -complete removal of the resulting gap between energy wing and character.

    -possible increase of the size of the energy wings (by x1.5 or x2).

    Thanks in advance and sorry for this little dumb request.

    Cheers
