  1. anyone knows?

Usually Flix is the guy you want when discussing what code is moddable, and which isn't. I don't know why he hasn't returned to make suggestions. Try asking him about "changing shadow or lighting density for night and cave areas" through personal private message and then get back to us.

  2. I recommend setting up a Photobucket acount or something to use picture URL links, or renaming your files in the archives you post for all to see.

By the looks of pictures, I understand you just want the night/cave lighting to be A LOT more darker, so that the day shadow doesn't become less dark. Correct?

  3. Sabre Cats and Slingers

Cat-like humanoid inhabitants of the Desert now appear in the mod. They spawn in the Bashade Plains as well as anywhere west of Khorum where there were formerly Du'Rach (all Sand Raiders are east of Khorum now).

Sabre Cats are the normal variants with melee attacks.

Slingers are the elites, who prefer to attack with throwing potions.

    Bloodwitch the Wild (super-unique)

Bloodwitch the Wild bars the way south from the Desert into the Jungle. She conjures up dust clouds and can heal herself. When she casts the berserk aura her scythe melee attacks are faster and do more damage as she loses health.

Not exactly the catgirls we were looking for, but given the limitations of modding for the game, its close enough. Though the model could do with some retexturing to more resemble big cats.

Happy to hear you found some new models for the game.

  4. You could create 2 different characters and see which one you like more.

Gun drops are rare, so for better guns you need to shop more. But even with a low drop, there are some powerful guns out there. Run through the desert, collect some sculls to socket = overpowered gun. Guns also do damage before the enemies gets to you.

The answer to your question should be "do you prefer melee combat, or ranged combat with some running around"?
